I had to spend one night in the Heber City Holiday Inn. I got in very late and was treated exceptionally well by the staff and made it to my room in time to go to bed for my meetings the next day. My sleep was good, room was clean and bed was comfortable. The next morning I was up early to go to meetings and the breakfast was waiting for me. The biscuits and gravy were good and the pancake machine was an awesome feat of mechanical engineering. The eggs, however, were a pass. Will definitely stay there again when in Heber City.

After staying in another hotel for the past 5 days with no air conditioning and noise from outside vacationers. Our stay at Heber City was very welcome.

Poor hospitality and high price. The price was high for a fair hotel in a small town.
The Wi-Fi was flaky; it did not work in the lobby and my email did not fully work in my room. Apparently, several people had an issue, but they did not post a sign apologizing or describing the issue.
I told the front desk that the speaker function on my room phone did not work but it was not replaced.
At checkout, the front desk lady said "you're good to go". That was it, no smile, no "thanks for your business", no "how was your stay". I expect more for this cost.

This hotel was in good order and was clean and seemed very new. This was a rewards stay for me and my family because I spend over 50 nights at Holiday Inn brand hotels a year. I know others may travel more but I do spend a lot of time and money traveling on business. I really like Holiday Inn brand hotels. The challenge at this property is I was involved in something in the community and needed a late checkout. Every other Holiday Inn brand hotel understands and accommodates these types of requests. I even explained in detail why I needed a late checkout. This property would not bend. My family had to be out of their room on time and sit in the lobby for almost 2 hours waiting for me. When I returned the front desk clerk admitted that our room still hadn't been cleaned and if we needed to get back in we could. What the heck! Why kick my family out if the room hadn't even been touched. The customer service and attention to the customer's needs really was very poor at this property. It seemed as soon as the front desk clerk saw that this was a rewards stay she treated me like a freeloader. I really don’t need to be treated this way. I could easily take my business elsewhere.

Disappointed that there was no luggage cart available the whole time we were there. We asked the person at the desk when we got there if the motel had a luggage cart. All we got from the young woman on duty was that there was "usually one over there." She was not customer friendly during the whole check-in process. Perhaps someone kept the one cart in their room overnight?
Otherwise, the accommodations were fine. Typical Holiday Inn Express.

Good hotel to see the sights of Heber Valley. It was kind of noisy due to lots of youth baseball players staying there for a tournament. But otherwise a good mini vacation stay.
