By the time we made our reservations there were only 2 bed rooms left. They were having a big event in SLC. When we arrived there were no vacancies in hotel so we were happy to have reserved early
We don't sleep as well in separate beds and can't sleep in
Queen beds anymore , However the shower head was so tall there was no way to get away from the water Even too tall for my husband who is 6' tall. Room was clean and spacious. Cathy checked us in and when we asked for dinner ideas she gave us 3---we went to all 3 during the time we were there and she was right on the mark.
Heber City is a very nice little town tucked into the mountains. We would stay again

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by drhsaeh Quiet and easily located
The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I went across the street to Walmart for some Fabreeze, which helped a little. The no smoking placard was up in the hallway, but the room needed a better cleaning.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mrs. Robison Nice place to visit
The county fair was going on at the time of our visit, but we were given a good night's sleep regardless. I appreciated that!

Hotel was the best in the area. The only national brand. The place was clean. Staff service was on the weak side when compared to similar properties elsewhere.

We would surely stay here again. Decent folks manning the front desk. At least there's people that can speak our English language decently without needing an interpreter! Fine all around. Good breakfast, better than others. Nice place if you're going to ride the Heber Valley Railroad, the main reason we stopped here. And yes, support this fine institution, they do a fine job on their 3 hour; 1.5 hour train rides. Mack will give you a tour of the shops where the steam engine is undergoing a rebuild and will be running Fall, 2014.
