Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Ending to a Long Travel Day After driving 10 hours to this destination, we were extremely happy to find check in was short and sweet. Mary was awesome at the desk and she told us not to hesitate if we needed anything else. (Mary also helped us with dinner suggestions from restaurants in the area. We did not want a national chain. We wanted to experience the hometown atmosphere. Her recommendation was perfect). When we opened the door to our room, we found it fresh and crisp - the beds were perfect for some relaxation and much-needed stretching. The towels were neatly folded and extra toiletries which are available to use were very visible. Everything was clean. Thank you for your attention to details and your customer's needs. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location I gave this hotel a good, not excellent rating because of our room location. When reserving we asked for a top floor, quiet room. We were given a middle floor, front of the hotel room. We asked to switch to the top floor which they did for us but still gave us a front of the hotel, not quiet side room. We were tired of hauling our bags up and down the elevator so we stayed in that room. I would recommend that the hotel read the customer requests when providing rooms. I'm sure we would have been moved to a back room if we went to the lobby again but I feel that if you fill out a request when reserving it should be provided if possible. We checked in at 3pm on a Sunday so I'm sure there were rooms available. Also we weren't given any perks for being Club Members. Usually we are given extra points or a gift baggie but we got neither. We did use points for this stay so that may be why. July 1, 2014

It was hard to tell which staff member was the most friendly, as the front desk/receptionists, breakfast/food servers, and housekeeping persons were each and every one personable and professional.
