Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a typical HIE I have stayed at this location a few times. The staff hasn't remembered me. The person who checked me in last time commented on my rewards status by saying 'I see that you are a Basic member. We want to thank you for that'. That was it. Usually they thank me for being a Gold level member and hand me a bottle of water or a snack. Not here! I always request a mini fridge and microwave because of my unique diet. Not only did they not provide me with a room that had them they didn't even comment on why I wasn't getting them. Twice I have stayed further away just to avoid this location but I really didn't want to have to make the longer drives this time. I would recommend, that if you can, skip this location and make the longer drive. The staff are very nice but don't provide the service standard that is typical at other locations. Also- the front doors are not automated. This is really annoying when you have heavy work bags. September 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slept Great but Dissappointed with the Room Rate! I was impressed by the quality of the beds and the excellent customer service once arriving. However, I was displeased with the Front Desk person and the Reservation staff who took my initial reservation as they weren't helpful and I was hung up on when inquiring about special discounts rates from the college that my son attends for the Merrimack College Football Friends and Family rate. The Reservantionist insisted that I had to go online in order to get this special rate when I never had to do this before. Additionally, I tried to speak directly with the Front Desk staff to make the Reservation and he stated that he had to transfer me to a Reservationist. Once I arrive and spoke directly to the Front Desk Agent she stated that the Front Desk Agent could have booked the room but since I had prepaid she was unable to change the rate. She did tell me to call the Front Desk Agent the next time and gave me the General Manager's card in case I had future difficulities. I appreciated her help but was dissappointed that they could not honor the rate, even when was their error after my numerous telephone calls. My son will be there for the next four years and as much as I enjoy the Holiday Inn, if they cannnot honor the special promotional rates I will stay elsewhere! September 10, 2014

The staff is great and the beds, baths and heating and air conditioning system works very well and quiet. When you walk into these rooms everything smells fresh and clean. You can not ask for more.
