The Bay State has a lot of American history and many historical sites to see. Put on comfortable walking shoes and bring your camera and then walk the Freedom Trail. It's only a 2.5-mile stretch, but there are 16 historic attractions along this trail. Another place to brush up on your history knowledge is the Commonwealth Museum, which houses certain historical documents like the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.
Behold something you've never seen before in Rockport at The Paper House — a house made completely out of newspaper. The house and furniture inside are all made from newspaper.
And when you're in Massachusetts, be sure to have a bowl of Boston clam chowder and a slice of Boston cream pie. Take your pick of which restaurant to try them at, as most have some version of them.
