Hotel Indigo Boston Garden
Hotel Indigo Boston Garden
Located in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle Historic District, the Hotel Indigo Boston Garden sets the standard for craftsmanship. The hotel lobby features a full wall of exposed red brick, paying homage to the historic red brick tenement buildings found in the neighborhood. Thanks to immigrant woodworkers drawn to the neighborhood, the community has long thrived on its distinctly local craftsmanship. The hotel’s guestrooms continue to evoke the craftsmen of past and present in the neighborhood. The hotel’s restaurant, Blake’s Kitchen + Bar, brings a locally inspired menu to life. Paying homage to the moments of well-deserved gluttony, Blake’s offers a straight-up, fresh take on hearty pub fare, embellished with a local New England sensibility. Proudly serving breakfast and dinner, you’ll also find a well-stocked liquor bar open late and we also offer an executive boardroom inspired by the North Bennett Street School. Our location is convenient to TD Garden, North Station, Mass General Hospital, Government Center, Faneuil Hall, Financial Center, and many of the world’s finest colleges such as Harvard, MIT, and Boston College to name a few!

Neighborhoods
Around every corner and down every brick-paved street, one-of-a-kind experiences await in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle Historic District. Our West End hotel is just steps from TD Garden, home to the Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins and can’t-miss concerts. And just a short walk away, you’ll find Faneuil Hall, Boston’s first public market and the site where early Americans protested unfair British taxation. It’s now home to an array of restaurants and food stalls, unique shopping, and a variety of street performers.
Also close by is the colorful North End neighborhood and its memorable Italian meals – and desserts. Visit both Mike’s Pastry and Modern Pastry to see if you can settle an age-old Boston debate: which serves the better cannoli?
Of course, you’ll want to take a leisurely stroll through Boston Common, America’s oldest public park dating back to 1634 and offering everything from festivals to performances. And winding from Boston Common through the North End, the famous Freedom Trail is a history buff’s dream, with 16 sites significant to U.S. history.
Toast the city that inspired Cheers with a pint at favorites like Harpoon Brewery, Trillium Brewing, Cisco Brewers, Samuel Adams or Castle Island Brewing. Take a break from a day of sightseeing at OFFSUIT, with its speakeasy vibe and stylish drinks, or City Winery, a great venue for music and entertainment. And when you’re ready for an unforgettable meal, restaurants like Beehive, Alcove, Committee, Lolita’s, and Lucca are sure to hit the spot.
Want to feed your cultural side? Numerous renowned museums are nearby, including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Museum of Science. And no trip would be complete without a visit to the New England Aquarium, featuring the largest shark and ray touch tank on the East Coast.
TD Garden is home to the Boston Bruins, the Boston Celtics and 19,600 seats full of passionate fans cheering for the win. When the teams are away, top musical artists like Elton John, Pearl Jam, Justin Timberlake and The Eagles take center stage.
This two-and-a-half mile path winds past some of Boston's most popular sights. Eat your way through the food stalls at Quincy Market, board the USS Constitution—the oldest commissioned ship in the U.S. navy—and hear the bells of Old North Church, where Paul Revere hung two lanterns to signify a British invasion by sea.
From the Mesozoic to the futuristic, the Museum of Science's interactive exhibits engage minds of all ages with the worlds of science and technology. Explore the exhibit hall, stargaze in the rooftop observatory or catch an IMAX or Planetarium show at this Boston institution.
A stroll through this vibrant Italian neighborhood can feature greetings in Italian, aromas of sautéed garlic wafting from doorways and most likely a quick stop for a freshly-filled cannoli. During the summer, the North End hosts a series of feasts, complete with music, food and parades. Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church are popular attractions here, too.
Just one street over from Hotel Indigo Boston Garden is West End Johnnies, a local favorite spot to see and be seen—and its serves up an exquisite lobster mac and cheese to boot. A highlight is the live reggae brunch held every Sunday.
City Winery's motto is “indulge your senses," and the delicious food and drink paired with live music acts—everything from jazz to rock to rap to swing—will certainly help with that. While you listen, sip on one of more than 20 proprietary wines, made with grapes sourced from around the world.
The Bell in Hand Tavern — whose name comes from its first owner, a town crier— opened in 1795. Today, you'll hear plenty of live music and even livelier conversation, continuing the legacy of Daniel Webster, a former senator, staunch debater and longtime patron of the bar.
Tucked into the bustle of Faneuil Hall is The Black Rose, a footprint of Ireland in New England. Yes, a pint of Guinness is listed in the appetizer section of the menu, and yes, there is corned beef on order, but most importantly, there's good Irish music every night.
This indoor, year-round marketplace opened in 2015 to give Bostonians a direct line to artisanal and farm-to-table food. The market, which offers free guided tours, features nearly 40 vendors selling everything from warm apple cider donuts to local seafood.
Just around the corner from Hotel Indigo Boston Garden is The Fours, a Sports Illustrated pick for the best sports bar in America. Whether you go for the impressive collection of sports memorabilia, the passionate fans or the tasty Bobby Orr steak sandwich, this classic New England watering hole will win you over.
Those who truly want to eat like a local will pay their respects at Regina Pizzeria, a family-run spot that's been open since 1926 in the North End. The dough is the family's original recipe and is baked to crispy perfection in a brick oven.
Mike's Pastry has been serving cannoli and lobster tails out of a perpetually-crowded North End shop since 1946. Happy visitors will come away bearing the iconic white box with the bakery's logo in blue, tied fast with a string bow, protecting precious cargo.
