Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding facility with very personal sevice In comparison to the previous hotels we stayed at there was a huge improvement when we came to the HOliday Inn Express. The check-in was easy and check out very accurate and complete. A USA Today paper at our door every morning was first class. The first cup of coffe was provided in the room but the larger size cup in the dining room was so much better. The food in the dining room was first class with many selections. I think the most personal touch, however, was the housekeeping staff who did a great job in the room and then left a personal message to us on the scratch pad provided by the phone. It gave us the "cruise touch" of daily comfort. I will highly recommend this hotel and the others in its chain to stay in and definitely schedule our next travel dates at a Holiday Inn Express. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Smells like smoke Staff courteous and helpful, room details need attention (stain on wall-I was able to clean it myself so it should have been addressed by housekeeping-curtains torn and coming off tracks/hangers), but biggest complaint was that my hallway on the 4th floor smelled strongly of smoke as the smoking rooms were on that floor. My room smelled too but to a lesser extent. If you are a non-smoker, request to be located on a completely non-smoking floor if you stay here. I should have done that as I had read similar reviews prior to my stay but didn't heed them. July 15, 2015

It has always been a good experience. beds are very clean and quite comfortable, the rooms are clean, the breakfasts are good and abundant multiple choices of fresh foods, quiet with a mini Kitchen... just a good value. Ho! Let it not be forgotten that the service is pleasant and efficient. July 14, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Middleboro Raynham July 4 We were greeted as Platinum members and upgraded to an excellent room. The front desk staff person was very attentive to our needs, though our needs were small. After a long day at the music festival in New Bedford, it was a pleasure to come back to the hotel where hot coffee and tea, as well as cold drinks, were available. Oh, and popcorn, yum! We were a little late getting down to breakfast the next day (around 9am) and the eggs were mostly gone and NOT replaced the entire rest of the breakfast hour. Now this is not a BIG problem but should be better monitored. In addition, the cinnamon rolls were similarly misplaced but did arrive just as we were finishing. Check out was more than quick but when we asked for water, we were told that the hotel's supply had run out at least two days ago and so none was available AND the bubblers were broken! The staff offered us one bottle of water for our trip home saying that she only had two left. All in all, it was a fine stay and we will surely continue to stay at the IHG brands in the future. As a matter of fact, we will be staying at the Holiday Inn and Resort in Aruba this coming October. July 12, 2015
