Although I was in and out for a one night stay I really appreciate the front desk attendant who called my cell phone to let me know I had left something in the room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very pleasant stay The hotel staff was very accommodating. They were able to place our immediate family (4 rooms) in near proximity of each other. We were also able to get an early check in which enabled us to "freshen up" after a 2 hour drive to Charlotte before a family wedding. They also gave us a late check out which enabled us to spend more time together before departing for home. August 19, 2015

I have written about this amazing guy in the past and I'm now convinced, after visits to over many different locations, that Ivan is consistently the best employee that IHG has working at the organization! If there is an award for excellence that the company gives out, he should be the recipient! Always caring and sincerely dedicated to make one's visit perfect, he never disappoints! Again, I could stay anywhere I want when coming to Matthews on business but, I pass up several other locations that are closer to where I am heading just to have IVAN take care of my stay! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All around great service I was not the one who picked this hotel, I was part of an larger group attending a reunion but I am sold on staying here for future visits to the area after my experience during my stay. Staff were attentive without being overly solicitous, the common areas and room were scrupulously clean and overall there was a definite sense of pride in providing a great experience that was very clear from everyone I encountered and from the condition of the hotel. The only minor thing that didn't impact me too much because we were so busy with other things; most of the television channels were not available with a message indicating that a digital converter was needed. It didn't impact the overall great stay and was so unimportant to me that we didn't even ask about it. August 9, 2015
