Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, large suites Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and upgraded to a suite based on our IHG rewards status. A front desk clerk was in training, so it took a little longer than it should have. The rooms were a little pricey for the area. But with that said, it was also the only hotel in town. April 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed and still waiting Overall not a bad place. Only complaint I had as far as the room is AC didn't seem to work. Was set on 60 the whole stay and never really cooled the room. What im not impressed with is my checkout experience. I checked out and was never given a proper receipt. Guy working the desk tried a couple things and still couldn't produce a receipt and stated he had only been there a week. I figure when I get home I will just look it up on my ihg. Well no record of me of me staying. I now call hotel and do finally get them to e-mail me one only to find out they charged me 3 extra days. So call back 4 days in a row I get the same go around take my info this and that and say the manager will call you back to fix this. Well it is now day 6 and still yet to here from a manager. I suppose I will be calling again today. Real check out date was the 15th not the 18th they show on the side there April 27, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Room and bathroom had not been cleaned well. Beard hairs in the sink and on the counter, food crumbs on the floor, dirty knife a bedside drawer. Manager promised to give back 10,000 points. It has been 6 days since my stay and no points added! April 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Conveniently located and great service My husband and I were traveling south and wanted a comfortable, clean place to stay the night. The Holiday Inn Express in Rockingham was convenient, clean and a relaxing place to spend the night. The staff was welcoming and courteous. In the morning, we had an excellent breakfast before once again going on the road. April 15, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cockroach I had a 3 inch cockroach in my room! It was running on the wall out by where the beds were. I am from up north so I did not know what it was. I called my husband out from the bathroom and he said "Oh my God it is a cockroach" hurry and kill it. At that point my 10 year old daughter which is deathly afraid of bug went to screaming. It took me a few minutes to catch and kill it and then we flushed it down the toilet. I just nicely got her calmed down and then there was a water bug in the tub. That was it she was done. 45 minutes later we were pulling back sheets trying to get her to crawl into bed. It was AWFUL. She laid with me that night basically right on top of me. We didn't get any sleep because she was so freaked out. I told the front desk in the morning and they said they were sorry. April 15, 2015
