Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, congenial staff and excellent beds. This was our first visit to Holiday Express Salina and we would rate it at the top. Good staff and excellent happy hour. Only Holiday Express happy hour that would compare would be at Raton, New Mexico. Very good breakfast also. Well managed operation and clean with very good matresses. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Evening Escape! I was in Salina on business and found the Holiday Inn & Suites to be a great evening escape. The hotel is new, and everything is well appointed. The front desk clerk, despite being busy - was incredibly helpful and friendly. And I was impressed that they had honored my request to be put near an exit as I am a smoker, and am more than happy to go outside to smoke - but it's always nice to be near an exit. The manager's evening reception was an added bonus. It was nice to unwind with a glass (cup) of wine and some snacks before jumping back into work in the hotel room. I had a wonderful experience - and look forward to staying here again when I come through on business. April 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience This property was up to the standard I expect from HIE. Our 2 Queen Suite was big. There was plenty of room for our baby's pack'n play. We were next to the elevator but never heard any noise. Beds were super comfortable. I will remember this hotel for future trips. My only complaint was the check-in. We arrived around midnight, and I had tired cranky kids in the car waiting. I had to answer some questions that seemed rather unimportant given the circumstances. If you want to know whether I'm traveling for travel/pleasure or need my email address, ask for it when I make the reservation, please! By the way, I'm a priority club member, and I reserved through the app, so you should have already had my email! March 28, 2013
