Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay I arrived in Temecula at 945 AM to attend a family funeral. I had made reservations at this hotel for that night. Traveling by motorcycle required a place to change clothes prior to arriving at the church. I stopped by this hotel and asked if I could use a lobby bathroom to change. To my surprise the front desk person confirmed my stay and suggested she could give an early room check in for that night. She was very helpful and having a room to get freshened up was perfect. She also acknowledged my Platinum Elite status. It was great to have a place to store my riding gear during this day. As with previous Holiday Inn Express stays this hotel proved to be very clean and well maintained. I do appreciate the extra consideration in this case that made my visit much less complicated. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Air conditioning needs fixing Jeannette at the front desk was fabulous. Her upbeat, friendly, and professional demenour are to be commended. The grounds and front lobby area were very clean and decorative. Unfortunately, it was a busy weekend and no additional rooms were available to make a switch from our improperly working A/C unit. Had the fan/unit been working properly, we would have given everything a 10. It was disappointing but we made due for one night. It is what it is. March 12, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not Have Full Curtains and Noisy It was a rough start and didn't end well. We were given 2 queen beds for our romantic getaway instead of 1 king bed. The rooms are clean but very old and outdated. Lobby and common areas are very nice and renovated though. What type of hotel does not have full curtains. They have these white see through skimpy shades that don't block out any light and the noise from the above room was unreal. Those people didn't sleep much at all. If you are looking for a good nights sleep, you will not find it here. March 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff Even though there were problems with the room, the staff, in particular Vanessa, were very nice and seemed to genuinely care about our stay. If it were me I would not put handicap rooms on the third floor of a hotel with only one elevator, for obvious reasons, although we did not have any problems during our stay. March 10, 2015
