Noise level was really good, considering proximity to Highway. Dining around the facility is great. Fast food to Fine Dining is reasonably close. Oh, Wine Country is near by as well. May 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express-Vacaville I stay at this hotel several times a year to visit family in the area. The staff is always accommodating on any requests I have asked for. I rarely want to be on the first floor near the dining area because I always arrive late on a Friday night. I have called the front desk before about late night noises and they have contacted the appropriate room and let them know. Sometimes if there are large groups staying at the hotel the breakfast buffet could use some help, but I know the staff tries hard to keep up with the demands of the guests. That pancake machine gets a work out. I tried a winery in Napa that was on an advertising card in the lobby. It was awesome. A big castle with a moat and drawbridge. Great day trip from Vacaville. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for having great beds and pillows. May 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Location Could be a good choice for a stay in Vacaville. Nice hotel with good room amenities. Mini refrig and micro along with a good variety of TV channels make this good for relaxation. However, our two bed room (no Kings available at booking) was disappointing in that we discovered at bedtime that one of the bed's sheets (linen) had some kind of residue on it and since it was red in color, we did not use this bed, even though we had planned to. Since it was late, did not contact front desk since it would have taken a while to get it changed. It makes one wonder if this linen was changed in the first place. Housekeeping service need to be more aware of bedding condition and change such linen when cleaning the room. If not for this issue, this would have been a higher rated stay. May 2, 2015
