In particular a young lady named Taylor was very helpful with local area knowledge regarding shopping and restaurants. She was also very apologetic regarding the discontinued managers receptions that used to take place on Tuesdays thru Thursdays.......those receptions were a large part (other than proximity to my customers) of the reason I selected this location to stay......advice: if you are going to no longer offer this it should be removed from the website! I personally witnessed an extremely irate customer screaming about it no longer being offered once you were at the hotel but it certainly was offered when she looked it up online............The young ladies at the front desk did their best to diffuse the situation but the lady wasn't buying it.........again if you are discontinuing a service don't continue to mention it as a perk for staying there!!!!!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I would consider a "best buy" location We spent a couple of weeks traveling around California and had chosen this location for a 5 night stay that would allow us to visit San Francisco and Napa/Sonoma Valleys. There were many hotel chains in this area but I chose Holiday Inn because we are reward members and I had been trying to be consistent with our brand of hotel for this trip. I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the pool area. Our kids had been looking forward to coming back after our site-seeing adventures to splash around and the pool was indoors and smelled funky. Normally they will swim anywhere but after the first night, they refused to go down, and I can't say I was disappointed because I didn't really want to sit in the closed up room with that smell any more than they did. The room itself was fine, the breakfast was your standard Holiday Inn food, but we were upset that their website stated they had a weekday cocktail reception but when we checked in and asked about it we were told they had discontinued it because of the cost. While I understand the rising costs of food, you shouldn't be advertising something if you aren't offering it. Overall, I think I have to say it appeared there were other options in this area that would have been more appealing. August 22, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 First choice in the past, this stay, and everytime in the future. When I arrive at a location, 90% is for work. My company gives us an allotted amount for our per diem. If we spend a portion of it, we can place the rest into savings. Unfortunately the price at most of the Holiday Inn Express hotels are a little more than I choose to spend, so I confine myself to lessor hotels. I wish there were a different rate for my extended stays, (Usually 60 days or more at a time). I would happily stay at the hotel if the prices were more affordable. August 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Welcome points never received. The hotel is pretty good as far as HIE is concerned. My pet peeve is the never-received 500 points promised by the front desk when I checked in (by forfeiting a bottle of water). I wrote an email to the hotel about this without any answer. I will write another one in a week (almost a month now since my stay). I will count how many emails I have to write for this pet peeve issue. August 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, Comfortable, Nice and New My daughter and I arrived late evening and stayed for one short night on our way back from San Francisco to the Sacramento airport. Our keys were waiting, our room was as reserved, the hotel itself seemed very clean and new. My daughter noted that the carpeting in the hallways looked like it had just been installed. Breakfast was fine, standard Holiday Inn Express, plentiful and not crowded. I would definitely stop here again if I were in the area and would recommend the hotel to others. August 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recent Stay - 7/23/14 I have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout the state and this is one of the better locations. The hotel was up-to-date and very clean. The staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Had a problem trying to use the wifi in the lobby area when a few of us got together to do some work. Called their IT support and they were less than helpful and finally hung up on us. Overall, my stay was very relaxing and the breakfast was great! July 27, 2014
