환영합니다 Duesseldorf
Welcome to the InterContinental Dusseldorf, located in one of the most elegant streets in Germany, the famous Koenigsallee. My name is Felix Kreus and my team and I are proud to offer you a stunning choice of activities and for sure: Insider-Knowledge of this great city
오전Step out of the hotel and step onto the Koenigsallee, the famous shopping and business boulevard. Start across the street from the hotel and find all the flagship stores for international designer labels. The smaller side streets are always good if you are looking to discover small, new fashion boutiques and young designer labels. After the shopping tour, continue your day in the Altstadt. The historic centre of the city is lined with boutiques, shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. |
오후Stroll through the Altstadt and go to Grabbeplatz where two great art museums face each other: explore the K20, art from the 20th century or the Kunsthalle with its changing exhibitions of contemporary art. Walk down Muehlenstrasse until you reach the Burgplatz take a break in one of the many cafés right by the river Rhine. |
저녁A cruise on the river gives you an impression of the city from a different perspective. Start your evening with a stroll down to the Medienhafen and enjoy an aperitif and an early dinner at one of the restaurants there. For evening entertainment, the Capitol Theatre or the world famous Apollo Varieté present frequently changing shows - our Concierge will be happy to arrange tickets for you. If you like it more classical the city's symphonic orchestra resides in the Tonhalle, which used to be a plantetarium, a very unique concerthall indeed. Or enjoy our Opera, the Rhein Oper. |
알고 계시나요? ?ArtThe establishment of an art academy in the 17th century was the beginning of the Art-city Dusseldorf where the federal collection 'Kunstsammlung NRW', outstanding art collections and other museums in addition to over 80 galleries are located. There is a continuous occurrence of internationally renowned exhibitions as well as the presentation of local artists in the city. Ask the Concierge for some more recommendations regarding exhibitions. Fashion Hot SpotDuesseldorf is famous for fashion- that is why many designers present their new collections at their showrooms a couple of times per year. Media Harbour (Medienhafen)Seven architects from all over Europe (including Frank O Gehry, Claude Vasconi and David Chipperfield) designed several company headquarters in the Media Harbour, making the area an architectural landmark in the city. You will find a great mix of industrial, heritage buildings and most modern architecture. This is an interesting contrast to the oldtown. Walking distance 25min. Rheinturm DuesseldorfThe 234 metre-high viewing platform has the best view over the city and the Rhine. On a clear day you can see all the way to the cathedral in Cologne (more than 40km away) and the Post Tower in Bonn (more than 80km away)! The Bolkerstrasse brewery mileIn the very heart of the old historical city centre you will find 'the longest bar in the world', a small alley called Bolkerstrasse where one brewery follows another. You should try the different kind of homemade "Altbier" to see and taste the differences between the century old breweries. |
담을 아이템Clothing for day tripsThe surrounding area is full of castles worth exploring. Bring some suitable clothes for day trips; casual wear and a backpack are helpful.
