The staff were not friendly or kind.
The outlets in the room did NOT work.
The AC did NOT work properly. The thermostat often read 70+ and the AC wouldn’t turn on, even though it was set to 68° - we also could not control the temperature/adjust it below 68°.
The room was next to the exit door between the hotel and the parking garage - it slammed shut so loud it sounded like it was happening in our room. This happened into the wee hours of the morning and started again around 5 am. I slept for maybe two hours of broken up sleep. It was absolutely horrible, which is why we wanted to check out and not stay for our second night of reservation. The hotel staff were extremely difficult to work with. When we asked for our room to be switched a few minutes after checking in and realizing how loud the door slamming was, we were told they could not move us because the hotel was sold out. However, I could still book a room for the hotel through the IHG app. We did not realize the electrical issue or the AC issue until much later in the evening, it was nearly midnight at that point.
