The room was clean and check in was easy. I did experience two issues. First being after a long 13 hour day I just want to relax and watch TV. Of the few channels offered only three came into clear reception and viewable. Maybe try to upgrade to a different provider. My second issue was the incessant dog barking from the local strays well into the night. I understand this is common but it did make for a rough stay.

Stay was ok. Idk I understand I should review to but I feel a note should be sent out to guests that absolutely everything shuts down at 3pm. Absolutely everything! Thankfully we had leftovers but even when googling restaurants in Chile it makes no mention of them closing at 3 for the curfew. And when we booked I don’t recall the curfew being in place

Staff and wifi needs work

Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Good start. In my room I could not get my WiFi to work on my phone, although it had worked just fine in all other hotels on this trip. This time there was woman at the front desk who obviously was not interested. Some grunts was just about all I could get out of her. She gave a phone number to call. After calling twice and half an hour waiting on line I found out the number was for corporate IT support. Not for customers. After some more grunting she said she called somebody in the hotel to help me. No idea when that person would get in contact with me. Another 15 minutes and she connected me with somebody to help me out. After many trials and errors he reset something for me in the hotel system and I had WiFi. Going back to my room I found out the WiFi signal was very weak and disconnected every 5 minutes. I never managed to connect my wife's phone or my computer due to the weak signal. Is it really to much ask to put in a $200 wifi repeater and get signal everywhere? Combine that with poor front desk support and here is a bad review.

Great Staff

Staff is v responsive to any problems that might arise—there was recently wasp nest on balcony of my room which kept reappearing after the staff came to repeatedly to remove it. They would cone within 5 min of calling always w a smile and eagerness to help me feel more safe and comfortable in my space

Our stay at Chinle

During Covid, and also staying within the Navajo reservation, restrictions were very tight. The staff did the best they could with very limited resources. We appreciate their effort and hope they will be able to thrive in the future.

Due to the virus, room service was not available, unfortunate given the lack of open for service. As we were there for business allot of time was spent in the room as they was no where to go with the virus and the TV service was very limited and poor reception as well. It really was bad!

Wonderful staff - kind even during these difficult times. Very comfortable bed and nice room. Lovely grounds, and close to beautiful Canyon de Chelly - nice to have grass and greenery in this area. Internet access is spotty but typical for Chinle - so glad to have any internet access as my Verizon cell phone did not work so well in Chinle. Difficult not to have a full kitchen or regular access to food (with COVID lockdowns and other restrictions on the reservation), especially when this becomes your home for a couple months - still, this is not a fair measure to judge this facility which is not intended for long-term stays. The staff did they best they could to make things easier for us COVID responders. I would definitely stay here as a tourist in the future!

Comfortable bed; clean room; great service by the staff

We were greeted by Evalina at the front desk when we arrived. She was friendly, helpful and professional while she checked us in for our stay. Later, when we were placing our evening dinner order, the afternoon desk clerk, Jarvin, took good care that our order was to our satisfaction. Every staff member we encountered met us with a smile
