Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Somewhat dissapointed! First of all when I booked this room through IHG I asked the agent if we were going to have a suite and I also said we needed an early check in around a11 AM, she said no problem it is all noted on this reservation. When I arrived at around 11 AM to check in the women at the desk said come back around 2 PM or later I said I requested an early check in and we are supposed to have a suite she said sorry nothing available now come back later. We returned at 2 PM she said not yet I said we are going to sit in this lobby let us know when its ready. Around 2:45 PM she said our suite was ready. I was not acknowledged as a Platinum member until the morning I checked out when she said oh you do not have any balance you booked using your Platinum Member points and by the way you know IHG points system is changing you can now loose your points. I then reported the problem we had with housekeeping no cleaning or making up our room the day before we checked out. Somewhat disappointed this year at this Holiday Inn we spent a week here last year had a little problem with the room type but after 2 days they put us in the suite. May 4, 2015

It is very clean and comfortable and I liked the feel when I walked in, the piano playing was a bonus. I have enjoyed the restaurant twice and found the food to be delicious and of hi-quality. The location is great because we are in the process of purchasing real estate in Ocala, in the are where the hotel is located. Our first stay was great, room 519, (4/26-4/29/15) and our second stay, room 211, (4/14-4/15/15). Room 211 had several air condition compressors right outside the room and woke my wife up every time they turned on. Also, the piano played until about 11:00PM which would have made it hard to fall asleep because it was also next to our room. No other inconveniences were experienced and we would say at this property on our next visit. April 19, 2015

I love having a fridge and microwave in my room, very important to me. the bed felt great but in the middle of the night and in the morning I woke with a stiff back. I had to do stretches to relax my back to start my day. I usually travel with my down pillow but did not this trip. You did have one fairly soft pillow but I would like more choices. Overall I had a good stay April 11, 2015
