Good food and very clean

I had an enjoyable weekend at the Clark location starting from the time I checked in. The front desk always greets me with smiles and ask if I need anything. It’s very quiet in the halls and it’s always clean. I had a nice breakfast and free coffee you can’t beat that. Oh I love how the parking is free also. I highly recommend this hotel.

Non smoking room (in 2022) reeked of cigarettes. If previous guests paid a $250 fine, it was not spent on cleaning the room.
The greeting was terse and we weren't offered the water bottles when we checked in.
Shower curtain rod was loose and I was afraid it would fall out of the wall. Building needs cap-ex money, especially with the two new hotels popping up across the street.

The young man named Sonny working the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. So encouraging to see such great customer service skills. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Comfortable room and work area. Hotel is conveniently located off the Garden State Parkway and close to multiple types of fast food and sit down resturants. Location allows access to all areas of this part of NJ. Clean with a staff that is committed to keeping the rooms and public areas clean.

Holiday Inn Clark,NJ is our favorite hotel. Every person that works there makes us feel welcome and comfortable. I get the best sleep because the beds and pillows are great !

My only complaint was the temperature in the workout room was very warm and all the equipment did not work. Room was clean and staff was very friendly.

This location never disappoints me. I got off work late this particular stay in late March, and the GM Kathy went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. She let me change my check in time and offered me a beverage, that was so sweet. I slept in late so they let me check out late. The staff is always so nice and courteous. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely and peaceful time.

I had a great weekend staying at the holiday inn Clark location. The hotel was extremely clean and quiet. I always enjoy staying here because the shopping center is so close. They have a full bar downstairs so I can grab a nice cold beer while watching the game also. I surely recommend this hotel.

I’ve been here before and the stay was okay, on the lower end of quality for a holiday inn. However this time when I woke up after first night, I found a huge cockroach, almost as large as my thumb. I was disgusted and checked out 30 min later, will not stay here again. Manager never contacted me despite front desk assistant getting my phone number. Manager was not on-site at the time (~9am) and never reached out.

Upgrades need to be made especially in the bathrooms. A dedicated bartender should be hired and perhaps promote events if you want more revenue.
