Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stopover location I use this HIE when travelling from south to north and/or return. It is an ideal location to break my journey. Good for me as this hotel is dog friencdy and allow my dogs in the room with me. I don't sleep well so have marked down the sleep component, but that's me and not everyone else. Being so close to the M6 there is always going to be some outside noise, can't be avoided. The one drawback, nothing to do with HIE, is the pub opposite, who lately have had woeful service times. Earlier this year the wait time on food was up to 90 minutes. The other day over 30 mins. Clearly they should address this but as they have a captive audience I doubt they will. The Chinese restaurant is not open Sunday despite the notice saying they are open every day. I would recommend this HIE as a place to stay. 03 July 2014
