Great hotel, staff very friendly, clean and accessible to lots of area restaurants on foot. Golf i courses are always just a 10-20 min drive.
You get what you pay for, inexpensive but clean.

A bit disappointed in this stay. Front desk seemed friendly enough, but I was not recognized for my status, or offered a welcome amenity, nor was I offered an upgrade. The room was mostly OK, but the air conditioner was very noisy, so we turned it off to sleep, but it got warm in the room, so a lousy night's sleep. The window and glass in the door to the balcony was filthy. Had not been cleaned in a while. Luggage carts are a bit beat and hard to maneuver. The cleaning staff has to use the only elevator, so it can be a challenge getting around. The elevator itself sounds awful and jerks when stopping or starting. I thought the breakfast was good, and fresh, the only highlight. Stayed in many HIE properties, this one does not measure up like it has in the past.

One of the biggest takeaways from our trip was the value that we received from our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Palm Desert.
The breakfast every morning was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous.
From the ice cold water in the lobby, to the bowl of mints, all the way to the cleanliness of the grounds - it all made for a relaxing experience.
Everything is incredibly convenient, and we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.

Hotel pricing keeps going up but services keep getting reduced. Being an IHG Rewards customer means very little if anything when problems arise. Preferred being a Priority Club member because the benefits were real when traveling. The staff at this hotel is wonderful but they are handcuffed by a non-caring corporate environment when trying to resolve problems. Housekeeping needs to train their staff better too. Short cuts taken when cleaning room.

the room was nice and clean. I thought I was getting a suite however, but just had a normal room with 2 beds. There was no outlet to plug in my CPAP machine, fortunately, I had an extension cord with me and was able to plug in at the desk.

The remodeled section of this hotel is great. Next should be the lobby.Good hotel for the price.

Hotel was very nice and staff was excellent. Love that Starbucks is across the street and good nearby restaurants with shops in walking distance.
