My stay was really great The people and the service was good to.. My bed is like sleeping on a cloud hand's down one of Best hotels out there

This hotel is worth the money. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are large and cozy. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. And, their breakfast is top of the line. They really do a great job here.

Friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary Breakfast was better than most hotels. Room was clean. Only slight negative was there was upper floor room noise (walking around) could be heard- we were on the 2nd floor. But they stopped around 10:30 pm or so.

This hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It is a smaller hotel, but very nice with easy access to area attractions.
Stuck in our room

We have stayed at this location many times. However our last stayin February 2025 was not good. I noticed on the day we were to leave that the door latch was acting up when I went to breakfast. About an hour later when we went to leave the latch would not work at all leaving us trapped in the room. I went to the room phone to call the front desk I found it did not work. I called the local number for the hotel on my cell and got an overseas call center. I had trouble explaining the problem, but final got them to give me another number for the hotel. When I called it the recording said “press # to reach the front desk.” I did and got another recording telling me there was no one there right now and to leave a message. I was astounded to say the least. Having now spent 15 minutes trying to get out of our room with no success I called 911. The police and fire department arrived and told the manager there was a problem. They all came up to our room and the maintenance guy used a special tool to open the door - said he’d had this problem before. After apologizing to the first responders we got our bags and left the room. When we got down stairs the manager was waiting to apologize and offered us two bottles of water for the inconvenience. And of course I did not get the standard request for a review of our stay. I went on the IHG website customer service page and described what happed. No response from them. If you stay at this hotel don’t be surprised if there is no one at the front desk when you need them.

Clean lobby and rooms and well stocked breakfast. We appreciated the access to the motel, nice staff and quiet rooms.

I have had nothing but supportive and friendly stays at this hotel. Even the last time I stayed in November when I had to keep extending my stay and then change rooms due to the death of a family member. They were just awesome and accommodating.
GETTING OUT OF THE RAIN

Historical rain falls in Western KY and Southern IL this particular weekend. We decided to go spend time with family and friends. As soon as our heads hit the pillows we new we were going to have a great nights sleep... and we did! In fact we took advantage of the late check out and just enjoyed our time away.

Despite thunderstorms, sirens & a tornado nearby, we had a pleasant stay. The staff could not have been more friendly & accommodating.

Very nice stay. Highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was very awesome. Staff was very pleasant and very attentive to our needs. Elevators were very clean and very quick and quiet. Hotel was very quiet and appreciative.

Super comfortable bed and pillows! Loved the hot tub after a long day in the car. Front desk staff was helpful with extra towels in the pool area and helping me find the ice machine.

We consistently stay here when we visit family. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is always delicious. The hotel has easy access to and from the interstate. We highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.
