Things to do
The Perfect Day

Welcome your day with fresh coffee from Think Coffee, a local favorite. With your brew in hand, take a leisurely walk from Midtown to the Meatpacking District along the High Line, a lush inner-city park built on an elevated section of the former New York Central Railroad. Then visit bustling Chelsea Market, where uniquely local dining and shopping opportunities are plentiful. Find art and vintage fashion at Artists & Fleas, and savor a classic American brunch at Bubby’s.

In the afternoon, head downtown to pause for reflection at the poignant National September 11 Memorial and Museum, built in remembrance of the victims of Sep 11, 2001 attacks. Next, head to the One World Trade Center building, where an observatory on the 100th floor of this monumental skyscraper offers breathtaking vistas of the city. A short stroll away is Brookfield Place, home to some of New York’s best boutiques and stores. Finally, head to Le District, a French food hall, to discover masterfully crafted French-inspired dishes, pastries, coffee, and classic wines at the various abundant markets, cafes, and brasseries.

With the promise of an eventful night in New York City, open your evening with a handcrafted cocktail and gourmet light bites at the hotel's lounge bar and kitchen, The Stinger. Then walk to Broadway to catch a show. Our Concierge team will be delighted to help you with securing tickets. After the show, visit Spotted Pig in the West Village. Boasting patronage from a long list of celebrities, this restaurant showcases British and Italian inspired seasonal dishes and a wonderfully extensive wine list. Round off a memorable evening by gathering around the piano for a singing session at historic Marie's Crisis Cafe, or enjoy live Karaoke while sipping on cocktails at Sid Gold's Request Room.
