Museum of African American History and Culture
Recently reopened, The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a Smithsonian Institution museum located on the National Mall, two blocks from the Willard InterContinental. Free, timed-entry passes will be required for entry. As they begin a gradual, phased reopening the museum will only be open Wednesday - Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The International Spy Museum
Did you know the International Spy Museum features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts currently on public display? Located adjacent to the National Mall, in L'Enfant Plaza, the Spy Museum is open daily and requires paid tickets for general admission.
Smithonian's National Zoo Welcomes Baby Panda
Located in Woodley Park, a neighborhood accessible from the hotel by DC Metro, the Smithsonian National Zoo sits on 163 acres in the heart of the city's scenic Rock Creek Park and features hundred of animal species including a newly born panda! Open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free entry pass required in advance.
