Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Crystal Bridges Museum welcomes all to celebrate American Art in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of landscape. Nestled in a beautiful natural ravine located in a wooded park in the heart of Downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. The Museum includes works by artists like Charles Wilson Peale, Norman Rockwell and Asher Brown Durand. There are also several beautiful trails to explore. General admission to Crystal Bridges is sponsored by Walmart. The Museum is closed Tuesdays.

Pea Ridge Military Park & Museum

On March 7 & 8, 1862, 26,000 soldiers fought here to decide the fate of Missouri. The 4,300-acre park honors those who fought for their way of life. Pea Ridge was one of the most pivotal Civil War battles, and is the most intact Civil War battlefield in the country.

Beaver Lake - fishing, boating, camping

The 28,370-acre lake was completed in 1966 and is nestled in the Ozark Mountains. A natural scenic beauty - paved access roads wind through 12 developed parks. There are 2,008 acres of campgrounds and over 650 individual campsites. Visitors can enjoy electricity and fire-rings. Drinking water, showers and restrooms are nearby. Other facilities -- picnic sites, swimming beaches, hiking trails and boat launching ramps. Spectacular fishing for Striper, Crappie, Bass, Walleye and much more.

Walton 5 & Dime Museum (no charge)

105 N Main Street, Bentonville, AR

A museum of information and educational history of America's number one retailing success story. The museum houses Wal-Mart artifacts, Sam Walton's old truck, and a tribute to his bird dog Ol' Roy. In 1886, this Bentonville building included a Post Office, drug and grocery store and insurance office. It was purchased by Walton in 1950 and became the location of Mr. Sam's original Bentonville variety store, Walton's Five and Dime. The center traces the origin and growth of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Daisy Air Gun Museum

Daisy’s corporate offices are located in Rogers, Arkansas. In 1999, the company decided to utilize that collection to create a first class and entertaining museum which would serve as a tourism attraction for our city. In March, 2000, the refurbished, expanded museum opened its doors.Today, the museum resides in the brick-paved historic sector of downtown Rogers in a building which, itself, dates to 1896. Gun and history enthusiasts come to see the collection of antique airguns.
