I loved the little creature comforts that were available to me. Bathrobes in the closet, and the fragrant spa kit that you find on that comfortable kingsize bed. April 24, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor treatment, no follow up This hotel required an advanced payment and no cancelation. When I arrived I was checked in and as I was handed my room key I was told that my room type was not available and that they were giving me a lower class room. Once I complained suddenly my room was available, but she told me it was "near the elevator". Actually the elevator shaft was part of my room. So all night I heard the 2 elevators run. I am a elite member of priority club and filed a complaint with Holiday Inn. I am yet to hear from the management about this bait and switch April 15, 2013

I was not informed when booking my room that a bluegrass festival would take over the lower to floors common areas. The noise was as if people were playing music and talking in my room. I made a few calls to the front desk but it did not stop the noise unti 1am. It was a terrible two night stay. March 22, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Another Dissapointment with Crown Plaza Written by a Platinum Member, who has spent over 150 nights in IHG properties in 2012! This property used to be a Holiday Inn. Since it changed to Crown Plaza, it has gone down hill. Service is less than desireable, they have eliminated the happy Hour for Platinum Members. The staff is non caring, cold and rude. The housekeeping service is poor, not even replenishing the room aminities on a two day stay. I have stayed in this hotel many times as a Holiday Inn, but never again as a Crown plaza! regretfully, February 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by How can the best get better I have stayed here several times. The first time was a great experience and it has gotten better with each stay. The most recent trip I checked in early (2PM) and found the front desk extremely helpful with everything. I asked to get a shuttle ride the next morning and everyone was sure to make extra effort in providing the timing that I needed. The room was perfect... plenty of space, the heating/air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything was clean and well maintained. AND I can't say enough great things about the restaurant. Again, as always, the service was flawless and the food is awesome! Thank you all for all of your efforts and a true desire to treat your guests with care. See you next trip. December 11, 2012

Just something about the receptionist there, others was ok but nothing to drive home about. I don't feel welcome at all. Yet I am a business traveler, so they would know that I travel a LOT. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As Always - A friendly, efficient stay The folks at this Crowne Plaza have made this a home away from home. Chris, Margarita, Sharday and Joe at the front desk are the best! Jeanetta and David in the restaurant are great people too. I especially like that these people have been there for years. So I guess their management takes care of them. I wish the IHG group would resolve my issues with another serious problem I had - not related in any way to this Crowne Plaza. It's making it hard for me to choose other Holiday Inns or Crowne Plazas when I travel November 13, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes you WANT to stay here! Everything about this hotel is excellent. The design of the rooms and lobby are very pleasing to the eyes and are very welcoming. The amenities are pretty much standard fare but leave nothing to be desired. I did not try room service because I had such a short stay but overall I walked away very impressed and will stay here anytime I am in the Wilmington area again! October 15, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noise control Stayed there Oct 5th and 6th. Partying young adults roamed up and down the 5th floor corridor from 1:30 AM until 3:00 AM on Sunday morning. Loud voices and laughing continued. My call to the front desk was answered by "security is walking the hallways". Security either did not get to the 5th floor or were there only briefly. Really detracted from an otherwise nice hotel. October 13, 2012
