- Taxi rank at rail station- turn left out of the statiopn and turn right immediately at the traffic lights. Follow this road straight down and at the Tesco roundabout- take first exit. Everything You Expect, but Not Much More

I don't really know what to say about this hotel. It was fine. It neither fell short of nor exceeded my expectations, which to be fair were not that high. Airport hotels have that soulless quality you don't find anywhere else.

So, no complaints as such. Recommended as somewhere to sleep before you catch a flight and that's about it.

One major gripe though that concerns all UK hotels, not just IHG ones: I stayed in four IHG brands this trip and am an IHG Gold Elite Rewards member, something that confers "complimentary WiFi" at all their locations.

Am I the only one that is heartily sick and tired of having to jump through hoops to gain internet access? When something is "complimentary" it should just work: I shouldn't have to traipse down to reception for an activation code, and - as I had to do at the Crowne Plaza - provide personally identifiable information to something called "The Cloud" to get online. I also had to agree to receiving marketing emails from them and "selected 3rd parties" which incidentally is marketing speak for anybody they like.

When are hotel chains going to realize that in the 21st century, internet access is just as essential as electricity and water? It's just another utility, and much cheaper to provide than any of the others so come on people, catch up and stop using your paying guests to leverage other income streams. IHG should be the first to make Wifi genuinely complimentary and freely available without hoops to jump through. I think occupancy would be improved as a result. I think it would give IHG an edge.

had a super room on the 06/11/14 but return on the 17/11/14 was not so good
