This hotel is consistently very well maintained and clean and the staff is very customer service oriented. I have stayed at this hotel approximately 10 times in the last 6 months and have had a great experience every time.

Excellent Time

My family was visiting the keys for a long weekend and were staying one night at the Crown in Ft Lauderdale prior to catching our flight home. Well, Tennessee was hit was the biggest ice storm since 1993 and our flight was canceled 3 days in a row. Each time it happened the hotel staff was amazing and completely accommodating. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

My only complaint is the shuttle to the airport was not more flexible. But when the shuttle was late to arrive, they grabbed and employee and a crowne van and took us immediately.

Hotel was nice but I would stay somewhere else if I had to pay for it (Gov. business so it was within per diem rates) due to the added cost for parking AND it was more expensive than what was listed on web site.
Restaurant was VERY expensive...especially the buffet. Much better places around to eat at better prices.
Woke up one morning and bathroom floor was wet...I seen water dripping slowly from ceiling exhaust vent and reported to front desk.....the girl told me that sounded normal to her but she would tell the maintenance man when he arrived that morning. Sorry, but that wasn't normal to me.
I would recommend this hotel only because it is within Gov. per diem rates but if you can find somewhere else within the same cost restriction WITHOUT added parking fee, do it.
