Great hotel staff experience

Never being in Germany the main lobby staff were very friendly and informative re directions, transit, suggestions for dining, etc. As mentioned, I really missed the full TV viewing experience with the understanding that I would have to pay additional for it.

You should have more voltage adaptors for visitors that have 110 volt requirements. We did not know how to turn the lights on in the room until we figured we had to use our room key into the provided inside wall sensor....this was not explained to us at check in and took a few minutes to figure out.

The window had not been locked and was slightly opened upon our arrival so we did not have air conditioning for most of the first evening.

Der äußerst zuvorkommende und aufmerksame Empfang war der Start zu einem exzellenten Aufenthalt. Bis zur Abreise ein Genus.

Großzügiger Empfangsraum. Große Zimmer. Auf unsere besonderen Wünsche wie Lage und Ausstattung wurde prompt eingegangen.

Nice location as close to city but looks outdated and not suitable for business travellers

I have stayed around 30 hotels in last 6 months and this by far was the worst experience.

Nice bar and good breakfast. But maybe that's all.

Staff in the bar were under pressure as only 1 staff serving and taking orders, making tables and bringing your food. Bless her!

Otherwise not good stay. I could hear taxi drivers, smokers and all passers-by from outside. Windows are old and may be not double glazed as it feels someone is having a conversation outside your window...

Air-conditioning thermostat did not work so very cold in early hours of the morning.

Had to call front desk at just before mid-night as someone was pulling tables and carrying some maintenance work on the floor below. she came to apologise and advised it has been addressed and will not happen again.

Give another 15 minutes and it started again. Had to call again and was offered change of room !!! Had to pack all my stuff in the middle of night and move :(

Very annoyed to see staff still in the conference hall organising chairs and tables at the levels below!!!

If you are planning for a holiday so may be it suits you for being close to lake and city but definitely not suitable for business travellers.
