Second stay at Brighton Seafront Holiday Inn.
Found it very nice (& other poor reviews to be a bit misleading).
It is undergoing refurbishment & ongoing improvement- have a bit of patience until this is completed. (If you did have a problem the staff are very helpful & sure they would resolve it speedily).
We had nice room both stays & it is situated short walk to promenade shops etc.
The English breakfast is good & plentiful - although varies between buffet & served plated (some other menu choice items eg fish may not be available).
We have stayed at other well known hotels in the area & this is as good as any. No hesitation for return visit.

The guest rooms badly need revamping, this property does not really do justice to the Holiday Inn brand anymore.
I would have given just 2 stars, had it not been for the friendly service, and a rare room upgrade as a Platinum member, which was a nice surprise.
The seafront balcony is a nice idea, but obviously never gets cleaned.
