Although this is not an Express holiday Inn it does have the feel of a quick stopover, as in the Reception the Bar and the Restaurant for an evening meal .
Whilst being perfectly fine for a breakfast , having an evening meal with the prices charged for mains , I'd expect to be in better surroundings.
The bar prices at nearly £5 a pint of lager do seem expensive considering the location - this is a hotel after all not a nightclub !
Genererally though, this is a good Hotel as the rooms are clean and comfortable. I'd stay again but would dine out for the evening meal.

Good standard of hotel with comfortable rooms and all you need ofr an overnight stop before catching a flight. You literally walk out the hotel, cross the road and you are at departures.
The restaurant isn't great, the limited food menu is ok, I would've liked to have been able to order a fillet steak, for example but had a burger. It was fine although melting the cheese on the bun and not the burger is a tad odd. Flavour was good though.
Only wrong note was that I got a call after I had gone to sleep - about 10 but I was to be up at 4am - to tell me I couldn't charge my meal to the room. I explained that in fact I had paid for it, so there was no charge for it. Sloppy.
However reception and bar staff both good generally and I would definitely stay again.
