Friendly welcome from reception staff on arrival. Unfortunately, the same friendly attitude was lacking in an older member of the reception staff who was rude and abrupt in front of me and to another customer when I was trying to make a reservation for my next stay at this hotel. I wouldn't have got the room required if it had been down to this person. Would recommend customer service training for this member of staff and will avoid her on future stays.
Room comfortable and clean. Restaurant menu is needing a revamp as it hasn't changed in what seems a long time. Lacking in allergen information for customers with food allergies. Took ages for waitress to go back and forth to kitchen to ask the chef what was in the food for my son resulting in one menu choice for him. If a list of the allergens in the menu was provided for customers, this would save a lot of time and make the customer aware of what is and is not safe for them to eat rather than them having to list their allergies to the staff who then go and see what you can eat. Reception and porter staff very helpful on check-out.

From the friendly and helpful Receptionist to the quality and value for money ,our stay kick started our holiday beautifully
The short walk to the airport was very convenient and the room comfortable and very clean.
Would stay again if on an early flight or on late arrival

I have stayed at this hotel many times whilst in Glasgow on business, and as a stop-over on both inward and outward bound flights.
What makes the hotel exceptional is the helpful staff who are always pleasant and have a 'can do' attitude. Breakfast is superb and Pat always greets you with a cheery smile ... great way to start the day!
