Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past generally with good experience. On this occasion I was less than satisfied due to a combination of several small things. On arrival late Monday night approx 11pm - waited almost 15 minutes to check in along with a small queue of other arrivals as only one person was on receprion desk & she was busy talking on telephone. No special check in arrangments for Priority Club members .After a long journey tiring journey, this is not what you want at your hotel check in.
Room was not particularly warm - attempts to turn up the radiator failed as the thermostat control on the radiator was broken.
Finally for first time at this hotel I saw that in my room ,mini bar service was no longer available. Fridge was there but was empty.

Great value hotel. Decent room and restaurant just needs some TLC in the mini gym.

My Flight from Helsinki to Paris has a 12 hour layover and I booked a Holiday Inn not knowing it is in the city center. When I arrived at Helsinki Vantaa airport Holiday Inn obviously I am told that there is no booking under my name. I showed them the confirmation and I am told that I am in the wrong Holiday Inn. I told the the lady on the counter (Paulina) I am tired and just needed a place to sleep. She called the other Holiday Inn explained the situation and in no time she gave me a room at Holiday Vantaa Airport.
This is the kind of service that I am looking for and will make me a loyal customer. I will see your hotel in my next trip Holiday Inn Business Park Austin Texas.

upon checkin I asked for a 4am wakeup call for my flight in the morning. what I got was a 2am wakeup call followed by a 4am wakeup call. thus causing a not so restful night sleep.
second - I asked to use the parking lot service of leaving my car in the lot while I was away for 5 days. I got dinner in the hotel bar while I waited. upon returning the desk staff could not find any of the paperwork. turns out a trainee thought that it was trash. I then had to wait for the desk staff to make up new papers for me while my take away dinner got cold.
I have to say 5 euros for a small bottle of coke is a bit on the expensive side. With the lack of options I feel like i was taken advantage of.
I was told about the extra's for reward members in the room. upon inspection I found the apple to be 1/2 rotten. I brought the apple down and gave it to the desk staff. All I got was "sorry". Well I was sorry I got such poor service.

We spend a night at Holidayinn Airport Vantaa Finland.
The Staff and service waw excelent, and the breakfast was incredible! Bad things were that the beds were almost rocksolid (like the pillows). And rooms were very cold (allthought it was only couple degree below zero C). We had to have shirts on during the nights, so not recommended to just marruied couples. Otherwise cinda cool place ;)
