I stay here due to familiarity and proximity to vendor that I need to work with. Two main reasons not to stay again would be lack of swimming pool in July and ridiculous price ($12.95) for a continental breakfast. I ended up just buying an orange juice from the hotel store.

This hotel completely ruined my day and it happened to be my wedding day!!! staff was very rude, sarcastic, unhelpful and we waited 2 hours in the lobby while our rooms were SUPPOSED to be getting cleaned.. I cannot believe how unprofessional everyone was and how careless the staff was. DO NOT STAY HERE

I felt that the Gentleman who checked us in needs a class in Customer Service, I felt he was very rude. there was a line to check in. It took me over 30 minutes to check in

Holiday Inn La Mirada is a good, substantial, and American place to stay. All you need is here and things are pleasant.

I arrived tired and bothered and disappointed that the hotel was not in the location i expected, but the staff went out of their way to help us get to where we needed to go. I can't thank them enough for helping to turn around what could have been a very disappointing few days. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. What a difference it can make when the staff are helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The gentleman that drove the courtesy vehicles were very pleasant, cheerful and helpful, they do a great job. Our stay ended up being a very enjoyable time at the Holiday Inn.
