Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The 'Old Wing' of the 1970's Holiday Inn! Overall my stay was unsatisfactory. The girl that greeted me at the front desk was less than professional. Her name still stands out in my mind. Dolly was occupied with the computer screen as I walked up to the counter. No one in front of me, but she was more concern with 'shooting the breeze' with a customer across the room in the lounge area while staring at the computer screen, than giving me a welcome to the Holiday Inn. "Can I check in?" was my greeting since she was ignoring me. I spelled my last name for her, and within a few moments she asked for it again. I showed her the IHG confirmation instead. Atlas she finally found me in the system. This was the beginning to a bizarre stay at your hotel. She did recognize I was a gold member, but failed to offer a complimentary upgrade. She did try to 'stick me' in a 2nd floor room. I asked for something higher up, so she gave me a room on the 4th floor. After arriving in the room I could see I was back in the 1970's. This room had NOT been renovated for some time. I was told there was nothing else available as they were booked up. Sorry, I don't buy it. I called from a outside line and they told me they still had suites available. Yes, this is 'WHY' I am giving you a 1 star rating. Your disrespect is noted. I will NOT be staying there again in the 1970's Holiday Inn. The renovations are taking far too long. It looked the same when I stayed there last year!! Have a Nice Day! Ciao! July 29, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good staff under trying times Unfortunately the hotel was being remodeled during my visit. Chose full service Holiday Inn instead of Express so that I could get a "real" breakfast. However, the restaurant was closed for construction. Will be a really nice hotel once completed. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed 3 different times The front desk staff is poor. The fail to properly record reservations or honor the rates previously quoted, even with documentation. As long as your room is in the towers then the stay is fair. IF you are in the 2 story side, prepare for a poor night's sleep, bugs and noise. We have stayed here 3 different times because it was all that was available and hoped things would get better. They did not, each stay has gotten worse. And to top it off they do not even acknowledge IHG members! We gave it a good try but for comfort, quality and professional staff, I would not stay here. Maybe after the complete remodel the building and the people will have a new attitude and feel. July 27, 2015
