Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, now under renovation . Very nice hotel that is currently under renovation . Finished rooms are obviously clean and modern. The bar and restrauant are not renovated yet. Very average bar food now but I'm guessing it will improve when the renovations are complete. February 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renovated Rooms I've stayed at this location several times over the past 5 years and have to say that the rooms appear to exceed my expectations of Holiday Inn rooms. In the past, the lobby of this hotel has impressed however the rooms appeared to be aged. Rooms were always clean and the amenities were acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovated rooms. It was much easier to work and relax in my room with the new furniture. Staff was overall pleasant and helpful. January 25, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible beds. Bad for one's back. Far too soft for men. This is the third hotel I've tried in the area and all have the "ultra plush" mattresses. These are horribly uncomfortable and soft mattresses aren't good for one's back. I've mentioned this in the past two hotels and the desk person said I'm not only the first person to say anything but several people had asked where they could get one of the mattresses. I find this hard to believe since the Sleep Number bed was invented because women like soft beds and men firm. Men are primarily using these rooms (business travel) since this isn't really a vacation destination. Many I've seen are doing physical jobs and I suspect would need a supportive mattress. I'm active and don't have a back problem but these mattresses bother my back. It's hard to believe the hotels only have one mattress option. It would also be nice if the TV articulated since the desk was beside it and I was trying to use it as a second monitor for my laptop to get work done. Usage was awkward. TV viewing from anywhere other than the bed (which I avoided as much as possible) wasn't very good either. January 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great value during renovation The property is about 30% renovated, but the rooms that are done are wonderful. They will change your view of a older Holiday Inn. The lobby fountain is really nice, and I am glad they are keeping it. The food is good, the cheese cake was uninspiring. The bar looks nice in the large lobby. January 10, 2016
