Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good staff under trying times Unfortunately the hotel was being remodeled during my visit. Chose full service Holiday Inn instead of Express so that I could get a "real" breakfast. However, the restaurant was closed for construction. Will be a really nice hotel once completed. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed 3 different times The front desk staff is poor. The fail to properly record reservations or honor the rates previously quoted, even with documentation. As long as your room is in the towers then the stay is fair. IF you are in the 2 story side, prepare for a poor night's sleep, bugs and noise. We have stayed here 3 different times because it was all that was available and hoped things would get better. They did not, each stay has gotten worse. And to top it off they do not even acknowledge IHG members! We gave it a good try but for comfort, quality and professional staff, I would not stay here. Maybe after the complete remodel the building and the people will have a new attitude and feel. July 27, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ugh - WORST IGH PROPERTY EVER There seem to be some positive review for this hotel, but I'm not sure what hotel they're reviewing. The rooms are SO OLD...and when you read they are renovating know that they WILL NOT PUT YOU IN A RENOVATED ROOM. They quote a much higher rate for a renovated room...yes for platinum and gold members too(actually they don't ask or care about their rewards program#. The older rooms are not just old but they are GROSS...gross, gross. I have walked out of this hotel before because the room was so gross. I have talked with the manager and explained that I spend 40-50 nights/year in Louisville and have asked to be upgraded and they will not #say the can not?) give me a renovated room. This hotel is so convenient for me and I REFUSE to stay here. I have emailed all staff on the website and 4 of 5 email addresses are incorrect and I did not receive anything back from the one email which did work. Don't believe the positive review - this property is TERRIBLE. July 21, 2015
