Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, but poor room. Let me qualify this review with this hotel Is undergoing a remodel. The stay was a reschedule from a few weeks earlier. The hotel charged me a nights stay when I camcelled my previous reservation without informing me, even though I cancelled the reservation in advance of their minimum notice rules. I had to contact them after receiving my credit card statement and supply them with my cancellation confirmation number. They did credit my account at that point. When I came down for breakfast, only then did I discover the restaurant was closed. Had I been told that when I checked in, I could have planned to eat elsewhere. The bathroom caulking around the tub was nasty. The smoke alarm was literly hanging from a wire on the wall. The treadmill also malfunctioned. I have stayed at this hotel before and was quite pleased. As a loyal IHG customer, I suspect this hotel will recover after the remodeling is completed. Unfortunately, I will not be staying again. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. once renovation is done will be very nice place to stay. would stay here again March 26, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff I received a confirmation for my reservation, but its address was just 1325 Hurstbourne. So I headed on N. Hurstbourne when it is actually S. Hurstbourne. During our stay, this hotel was under renovation, which is good. Our room was on the "terrace", which means it had an exterior door and an interior door. I had two daughters with me and didn't like that at all. This also meant that to get to the second floor, there was no elevator. The girl at the front desk was friendly, but failed to mention that part. The beds were dated and uncomfortable, but the room was clean overall. I will not return and I wouldn't recommend this hotel, mostly for the "terrace" situation. That area should be discounted, but I paid the same amount that the rest of our group paid and they were in the updated area. March 19, 2015

Construction noise was not an issue, but temperature in common areas of hotel was not very comfortable. No AMC on hotel tv channels, very few outlets accessible in meeting room. March 19, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 I'd wait until construction is done! I am so upset with my stay. When I stayed a few weeks prior I was informed that my children would get free breakfast at IHOP since the hotel's kitchen was closed. I didn't bother to get the name of the receptionist that told me that. As soon as I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by an awful woman at the front desk. She demanded, "Well I want to know who told you that your kids eat free." She continued to have an attitude checking me in. The day shift staff members were very friendly and comforting! Our freezer didn't work in the room so food was ruined overnight. The shower leaked. It was fixed immediately though. The coffee in the lobby was stale. The room was VERY loud by 8am in the morning. I was told by the woman when I checked in that there were only rooms on the 4th floor. Yet later that evening I heard her tell a man that there was a room open on the 2nd floor where construction wasn't so loud. It appears that the hotel will be very nice when construction is complete BUT no one bothers to tell you about the problems when you book. I'm still bothered by the experience especially with the hotel being a Holiday Inn. March 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Under construction I wish I would have known this hotel was under renovations. I would have never stayed here. The rooms were very small. The noise from the construction woke us up in the morning. The air conditioner unit was very noisy all night long. Not worth the price! If a hotel is under construction, rooms should be half price! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by renovation time We found out they were under reno when arrived, but they put us where we wouldn't be bothered. Ok. Gave us "ihop" food vouchers ,cause restaurant was closed in hotel also. But here's what was bad, they have a shuttle I got a ride to a location, but they couldn't pick me up cause the driver wanted to go home. Why offer to take someone somewhere if you can't pick them back up, it was a pain trying to get a taxi to show up in that town, but Uber came threw in the end. Not happy with Holiday Inn leaving me stranded. March 11, 2015
