Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by When in Mentor My stay at The Holiday Inn Mentor was great! Members of the staff spoke to me and smiled over 10 times during my short stay. Sometimes just to see others enjoying their day makes your day. My favorite part of the stay was dinner at KRAVE. This is not your ordinary hotel Bar & Grill. Tried the steak and it was cooked to perfection. My booth even had it's own private TV and remote. I want to make special mention of Lisa at KRAVE who came over to talk with me as the place started to empty out. What a pleasant lady she is. I have stayed at 4 other hotels in the area and none compare to this new Holiday Inn. I will be back! February 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from home! Living 2 1/2 hours west of Mentor and managing a project in East Cleveland this hotel has become my home away from home 4 to 5 days a week. The front desk staff, both morning and evening, are SUPER! Friendly faces before and after a long day at work are great. The restaurant / bar, Krave, is a wonderful place to grab a bite. The staff remembers you and your favorite beverage. The chef does a great job on everything from the nightly specials to the full menu offerings. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, the bath room is large and convenient, The location allows a smooth and quick drive to and from East Cleveland but with the small community feel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly recommend Holiday Inns can be hit or miss. This was a hit. Newly remodeled, clean, comfortable and quiet. Desk and bar staff were friendly and efficient. Free coffee in the lobby. Felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. I wish all Holiday Inns were this nice. February 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay!! This hotel is the ONLY hotel I stay at when traveling to Mentor, Oh. The staff is very friendly and always seem to take care of my requests. My room was very clean and comfortable. The Restaurant Krave has a great menu selection, good quality food and friendly service. I can't wait until I get to visit again! January 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Taking away your perks We have stayed here before and really enjoyed ourselves. This time we were greeted at the front desk with a sign stating they no longer would give the $4 off coupons for breakfast. Most of the Holiday Inns I stay at not only offer free breakfast but also free drinks for Priority Club members. The main reason we stayed here was to relax and have a night away where we could enjoy the pool and hottub. I have back issues and these activities really help. SURPRISE the pool is CLOSED and the HOTTUB has been filled in with concrete. This would have been nice to know as we would not have even made the reservation. Not only was this not mentioned on the website there was nothing at the front desk or lobby area telling us these areas were closed because we would have canceled our reservation on the spot. We will not stay here ever again! January 16, 2014

The two staff members we spoke with were super nice and helpful. Plus it was very close to a lot of restaurants with easy access to the highway. We will definitely be back. January 4, 2014
