Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great room and great staff. I was very pleased with every aspect of my stay. The room was well appointed, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly and assisted us with all of our needs. Everything was clean. It was very nice. October 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by skip the breakfast The front desk clerk was very friendly and provided lots of information. The hotel is cleaner than most of the Holiday Inns we have ever stayed at. However breakfast is a little worse than most. You can pay a little extra when you reserve your room for the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, it is the usual breakfast fare and sparse. Soggy waffles already made, fake powdered eggs, crispy cold bacon and tiny cold muffins. Getting coffee that day was a real issue too. They only had a couple of table pots and a large table had them all. So we had to wait to get a cup of coffee. Go across the street where our friends went and they said Bob Evans was terrific. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tired Holiday Inn Recently returned from a 10 day vacation to the Northeast US and the Holiday Inn Cleveland NE-Mentor was the worst Holiday Inn we stayed at, and most expensive, just not up to the standards of Holiday Inns that I’ve come to expect over the years. We made reservations on line (platinum member) approximately 45 days ahead of arrival. We were given a first floor handicapped room and told it was the only thing available. When we received the bill the following morning it was $30.00 more than the confirmed price and when questioned I was told we tried to get the AARP rate at check in and it added $30.00 by mistake…untrue we did it all that on line. The billing mistake was taken care of. The hotel hallways were dirty, crushed food on the floor in numerous areas, spilled drinks, a tired hotel, again not up to Holiday Inn standards we expected. The only highlight was the bartender and it was her last week. I would not recommend spending an evening in this motel with so many other motels close by. October 8, 2015

All of the staff went out of their way to welcome us and to at least say "HI" to us every time they saw us. They were so helpful with directions, etc. It was just an awesome stay in every way. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast Food We were not pleased with the breakfast buffet. The sausage was not done, and the staff member we talked to tried to say that some people want well done meat and some do not. But the problem was they mixed all the meat together so you could not tell which ones were well done and which ones were not. We do not feel that for the type of food that was offered, it was not worth the $9.99 per person cost. September 30, 2015
