Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel, Good Location There is a good Mexican Restaurant right next door, no need to drive anywhere. The hotel seems to very new or recently remodeled. I have stayed here a few times with no issues, however this trip had a few hiccups. First, all channels worked except ESPN, on a Monday night, so no football. Strike one. Then the door was about 2 inches shorter than it needed to be so you heard everything that was said in the hall, as well the elevator, all night long. Third, and while this seems minor, it really effected my sleep. it was a cool night, but not enough for the heat, however the A/C wouldn't blow constant in fan mode or A/C. it only worked in A/C mode and due to the cooler night, hardly ever cut on and only for a few seconds when it did. So you couldn't drown out the noise in the hall with a the constant hum of an A/C, so I hardly slept at all. Not good when traveling for business, but all in all I think this is one of the nicer hotels in Vicksburg. December 2, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Dissapointed Where do I begin here, checked into my room and all was good until 10:30pm when some people entered my room when I was sleeping and turned on my light and woke me up. They promptly left and then the front desk calls my room asking "who is this?" They told me that the system showed no one was in my room and that they were sorry I was disturbed. Well the next morning I went to leave and I did not have my check out sheet under my door, I went to the desk to checkout and it took over 15 minutes to get an answer and I finally had to leave due to an appointment. I asked the front desk to give my number to the GM and have her call me but that never happened. I had to call myself 3 times and finally I got the GM and told her about the goings on with my stay and it took another SEVERAL hours to get my final bill emailed to me, and to add insult to injury IHG rewards isn't giving me credit or points for my stay. I will be avoiding this hotel in the future like the plague, Holiday Inn Express down the road gets my business from now on. Still cant believe a IHG Platinum rewards member gets treated in this way.
