Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Dissapointed Where do I begin here, checked into my room and all was good until 10:30pm when some people entered my room when I was sleeping and turned on my light and woke me up. They promptly left and then the front desk calls my room asking "who is this?" They told me that the system showed no one was in my room and that they were sorry I was disturbed. Well the next morning I went to leave and I did not have my check out sheet under my door, I went to the desk to checkout and it took over 15 minutes to get an answer and I finally had to leave due to an appointment. I asked the front desk to give my number to the GM and have her call me but that never happened. I had to call myself 3 times and finally I got the GM and told her about the goings on with my stay and it took another SEVERAL hours to get my final bill emailed to me, and to add insult to injury IHG rewards isn't giving me credit or points for my stay. I will be avoiding this hotel in the future like the plague, Holiday Inn Express down the road gets my business from now on. Still cant believe a IHG Platinum rewards member gets treated in this way. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Breakfast This was a great hotel to stay. The staff was great and responded to my every need. The breakfast was great. The only problem that I had was room service. I call to order room service and was told that the cook did not come to work and room service was not available. October 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Still slipping My most recent stay at this Holiday Inn was by far the worst. I still think it is a good hotel and the location is very convenient but the staff and management are really making me wonder. I got there very late at night. I checked in and went to my room only to find it was already occupied. It took two more tries to get me into a room without a roommate. There was also some difficulty with a few other minor things like I was offered a choice of getting points for my stay or a gift bag. The gift bag would include a water and a bag of trail mix. Really? They are so cheap you have to choose one or the other? I was also surprised to hear one of the cleaning staff cursing out in the hallway when I went down to breakfast the next day. I tried to meet with the manager several times but was always told that she had just stepped out or that she was in the building but they couldn't find her; they said they would have her call me in my room so we could meet. She never called. The final problem was, once again, the restaurant was closed on Saturday night. I was more than happy to take my business to the restaurant across the parking lot but what is the sense of having a restaurant if you don't open it when the customers want to use it? I may give this hotel one more try but I am getting a little weary of the mistakes and failures of the management. October 29, 2014
