Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by my brothers wedding (hubert and leanne kellett) stayed friday till sunday and what a brilliant time me and my wife had. hotel was very clean very friendly staff could not of done any more for us, the wedding meal was fantastic well done to the chef's (i know its hard catering for so many people as i am a chef myself hats of to you also the rest of the kitchen team). reception staff very helpfull would recomend this hotel to any body traveling to bradford. will defenlety be staying again when i next see my brother in bradford. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel requires upgrade and better staff training Untidy decor in hotel requires some refurbishment. Lack of staff in reception - slow. Television in room was not working properly. After reporting the problem nobody bothered to deal with it. Poor service at the Bar. Nobody manning the bar. Waited an age. Staff need to be more welcoming and attentive. Not great value and quite a poor experience for the money. Unfortunately I will not be going back July 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tired Hotel This hotel has such good potential given the rural location between two cities, the staff were friendly and helpful. However most hotels have a natural life span between refits and this one nearing the end of the cycle, it is now in need of sprucing up. The meal started very well with crayfish, however the rest of the meal was to say the best average, the dining room is sparse both in terms of decor and clientele. July 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A regular stop I use this hotel simply because it's really convenient for a client I work for BUT I really enjoy staying there too. It's the staff that does this for me - always cheerful and helpful, and you can have a laugh with them too - so important for me when I'm stopping away - no-one likes a robot . Take the last visit - hotel internet was down, allocated room had no service on my phone, so we walked around the hotel to find somewhere with a signal, and then they sorted me out a room there. (Sunday - so plenty of options!!) Little things like that - and that I felt I could ask in the first place. Yes, good hotel, made better by the staff. Thank you, ladies, as always July 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not recommended unless you have a sense of humour We stayed in a 2nd floor executive room and really just wanted a roof for the night and some basic comfort.. like a cup of tea, a shower, TV and internet...Unfortunately there was only one towel for 2 people, insufficient tea and coffee, (2 tea bags, no milk etc) no response to repeated calls to reception, room service or any other department, eventually we got through and towels arrived but turned out to be bath mats instead of towels. Went to reception as again I was unable to contact them on the internal phone or the interactive TV and was then locked out of the room, swipe card had to be reset. Fortunately the lift worked ok. Tv crashed after 5 mins and then came on under details of a guest in a different room. Internet didnt work. Breakfast was ok and the bed was very comfortable. There were 2 weddings on, the guests were very friendly and the room was situated away from the parties so it was quiet. The staff on duty did their best to sort things out for us and I would like to think that our stay was a 'one off'..or .. 'just one of those days'..and it probably was but we'll never know because we will never stay there again. July 9, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs refurb First room very musty mould in shower, missing grout, loose tiles on floor flaking paint and stains on shower curtain. Second room cleaner but not by much, passable no better. Room service meal served without cover so not hot, sauce on curry has split into vinegar taste and lumps, rice cold. Complained and was told it was chefs day off and sous chef was looking after the food and the sauce had split whilst being reheated which makes a bit of a joke of all the posters extolling the virtue of 'fresh cooked food'. In all of this the staff told me that they would have investors in tomorrow to pay for a complete gutting and refurb. The whole place is tatty and in need of modernisation and kitchen standard woeful if they thought it was okay to send something that was so obviously unsuitable. I would not have given it to a scabby dog at my back door. Will not go back until the website says refurb is complete July 5, 2015
