I hate the smell of stale tobacco smoke, and yet somehow my reservation reflected no preference for whther my room was a smoking or non-smoking room and I was therefore assigned a smoking room. After complaining to the front desk clerk that I would never leave "No Preference" in that field intentionally, he informed me that the hotel was full and there were no non-smoking rooms available. After I checked out the room and found the smell was overpowering, I went back to the front desk and he told me a non-smoking "Accessible" room had come available. I took it and had a pleasant stay.

The room I checked into was not what I had reserved. When I made the reservation, it was for a 2 queen suite (advertised with sleeper sofa). When I got checked in, there was no sleeper sofa/suite. I was too tired from my trip to argue about this and since we only had four people in our party, the 2 queens were adequate. When I was ready to leave, there was no bill under the door so I had to go and ask for one. -- I've stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years, and this is not something that I would expect from a highly rated hotel. I would not return to this hotel again.

Great place to stay, quite, clean and comfortable. Quality of food, ease of shuttle transportation great.
