Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wait until I65 construction is finished and they get a maintenance man Well my curved shower bar only had (1) screw in each end so when I looked at it; it was smiling back at me. It proved to be ineffective at keeping the water inside the shower; since the curtain liked the lowest point on the bar best.. The knob to control the water was broken and could be rotated either direction with great effort; pulling up the plunger to send water to the shower head took an even greater effort. Then there is the highway construction outside the west side of the building; which is where is was. The tires running over the rumble strips all night long worked as designed and kept me from falling asleep. I wont be stopping here again for a long time. January 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what was guaranteed The hotel was clean and the room was fine except the reservationist did not get us a hotel room with a jacuzzi like we asked for. I waited on line for 2 minutes and she said this hotel suite had one. Needless to say, it did not. I called back and was supposed to have a lower rate. The hotel did not honor that either. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for an overnight stay We stopped at this particular HIE as we were traveling through Louisville. It was easy on and off access to the expressway. The room was comfortable and well supplied although the towels were a little on the harsh side. The breakfast the following morning was well-supplied but somewhat tasteless and cold. All in all this was a good place to spend the night. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible either. January 11, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good experience First, the hotel clerk told me that my rewards membership was not valid. Second, the room had areas of water damage or just plaster peeling from the wall and ceiling. The room was much more tired than I was! It was clean though. Third, the street noise from the interstate was really loud! Fourth, the breakfast was not up to Holiday Inn Express standards. January 2, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very Noisy Room is what you would expect for a Holiday Inn Express. Very comfortable. The problem is the road noise. Make sure you ask for a room away from the road. Neither my wife nor I could sleep. When we told the staff their answer was "we can't do anything about the road". As a Priority Club Member I would have expected the staff to put us on the other side of the building when we checked in (facility was about 20% occupied). Clearly this is not up to the normal standards you would expect from Holiday Inn Express staff members. December 23, 2014
