Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by What time is it? We've come to expect a superior level of service at the Express line of Holiday Inns but this hotel did not live up to that. There was no consideration given to us as a loyalty card holders at check in. The bed was firm and uncomfortable. The door lock was faulty and took numerous tries to get in each and every time. The desk chair was small and uncomfortable and the remote stopped working and left us on the Spanish channel. Both clocks in the room malfunctioned. The bedside clock ran fast and the microwave clock slow. All in all an unpleasant night. January 30, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad service I used my points to book two rooms one for my family and one for my uncles who were coming from other states. We were there for my Mothers funeral. cooked food tasted terrible ate muffins only. My room was the smallest room I have ever had and I had 4 people staying in it. My uncles room was bigger and nicer then the one I had. I feel that because I used my points that I was an inconvenience for them. I have been staying in the same hotel in Detroit for 3 years and have never had a problem. I could go on but this should tell you this was the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Last minute comfort We were initially planning to stay north of Indianapolis on our way back from Minnesota over the holidays. However, the kids were exceptionally great travelers that day and we decided to push for Louisville. I called the hotel to request an adjoining room for our 4 kids at 5pm, knowing we would arrive around 9. I was told the adjoining rooms were sold out, but she would keep an eye out for us. When we got there, not only did we have an adjoining room, but the front desk had also already put an extra cot in our room, just in case we needed it. They went above and beyond for our last minute change of plans! January 3, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Thrilled With My Stay Received an upgraded room upon my arrival. In the room, saw there were two television remotes. Both controlled all functions, except the volume. Called the Front Desk and explained the situation to the Attendant. Her very reluctant response was "I guess I could try to come to your room and try to reprogram the remote". No other comment was made and no offer given to move me to another room. Later in the evening, found the toilet to be quite loose at the base and rocking in pretty much every direction. A real hassle throughout my stay. The following morning, when trying to take a shower, discovered the water diverter was stuck in the shower position, and would not move no matter the force exerted to the stem. Glad it was stuck in the position it was, but just another hassle, in a supposed upgraded room. Then, noticed a large amount of scale buildup was present on the showerhead nozzles. Very bad presentation in a supposed upgraded room. As a Platinum Member, not very pleased with my stay at this hotel. December 20, 2015
