Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointing We used IHG points for half our stay and paid cash for the rest. I called after making reservations online to ensure we would not be asked to change rooms. Staff said no problem. We arrived and desk confirmed the nature of our payment/situation. I called the desk at check-out time the day we would begin to pay cash and someone had been booked in our room. Staff resolved the problem quickly--but there should not have been a problem. There were dirt clods under the ottoman when we arrived. There were no racks for towels in the bathroom. There was plaster falling onto the window sill from above (and was still there when we checked out), which I would imagine had something to do with the fact that our room was overly humid during our entire four-day stay. The tub plug was broken. The bath spigot was not properly installed. The sink drained slowly. The only reason we did not request a different room was that we, of course, were only there to sleep and the bed was very comfortable. The man who checked us in was very pleasant. The rest of the staff were not unpleasant but somewhat aloof. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! I just grabbed one night for a quick trip to Louisville, and couldn't be happier. An overall great experience: polite staff, fast internet, very clean rooms, and soft towels! There was a good variety of breakfast foods, and plenty of seating in the lobby. The location is good too, only about 10-15 minutes from downtown louisville. April 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Middle of the road I have stayed at many Holiday Inn's. This one was nice. It was an older building and they have done remodels on the bathrooms and rooms. It was a pleasant stay. My only gripe is the towels. I think they were original towels. They were thin, hard and like sand paper getting out of the shower. Not pleasant. Would I stay here again, I think I would drive 5 minutes North up the road and try that Holiday Inn. April 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average at best Big fan of HIE hotels, but not this one. First off, they forgot to put the inner liner on the shower curtain after the last guest checked out. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart at the corner from what looked to be a long term leak and there was black mold on it. The wall also had some water damage. I would have thought they would have fixed that before putting a guest in that room, but I guess not. Also, they ran out of water in the fitness center the night I checked in and 3 days later when I checked out, it still wasn't replaced. And other than the kid that checked me in, no one was really friendly. April 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Truck Show Stay The hotel was good and comfortable. I didn't like it when I checked in and the hotel clerk says I was lucky to get a room. I booked my room a month in advance and that wasn't a very professional thing to put out in the open. The bathroom in the room didn't have a towel bar I found that really strange. I always like Holiday Inns breakfast. April 7, 2015
