Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jennifer11427 Valet service was incompetent
The hotel décor was cool and hip. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is great, right around the corner from the main shopping area.
The valet parking service, however, needs to be re-evaluated. Hotel Indigo Brooklyn uses LAZ for their valet parking service. LAZ parks your car at an off-site parking garage. After we checked out of the hotel, we waited over one hour for our car, along with at least 3 other hotel guests who were also waiting for their cars. If you're arriving at the hotel with a car, I would strongly recommend not using the LAZ valet parking service; find street parking or a parking garage on your own, since Hotel Indigo Brooklyn doesn't have any on-site parking. If public transportation is an option, even better - the subway station is right at the corner half a block from the hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location near the subway. The bar and restaurant were nice and the food was good. The music in the restaurant was too loud.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Barfinsnarfliger Excellent location
Perfect, basic accommodations, in a great location. Easy access to subway, clean comfortable room. Some of the furniture was starting to show its age, but otherwise right on. Some of the rooms have patios, great place to take morning coffee. Neighborhood is under a great deal of construction, location will be better when it's all done.

The desk staff here is fantastic! They're always so nice and put me in most quiet room possible. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of construction in the area, so there's only so much quiet attainable...they tried their best though. It's also in a prime location for shopping, there's a corner store 1 block down to get snacks and drinks, and there are several subway stations nearby.
A few negatives: The rooms are so small, you're pretty much shuffling around things the whole time. Also, I think the cleaning staff might need more training. My floor was really dirty. I got up one time to get some water, and before I climbed back into bed, I looked at the bottom of my feet, and they were dirty and had debris, so I wet a towel to clean my feet before I got back into the bed. Also, the duvet on the bed had crusty white stains and the coffee mug in my room not only had a film in the bottom, but it still smelled like someone else's coffee.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Texas Vacationer84 Small efficient rooms that are VERY CLEAN
This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Brooklyn or NYC. It is easy to get over to Manhattan from the hotel as a subway station is just down the block. The rooms are small but efficient and VERY CLEAN.
