MAÑANAEarly birds can take a walk down to Lake Michigan to enjoy a spectacular sunrise. The scenery is beautiful, and there are plenty of jogging and walking trails. The Milwaukee Public Market is open early for fresh bakery - try C. Adams. And for a great coffee go for local roaster Cedarburg Coffee Company. For a taste of Milwaukee culture, visit one of our many breweries for a memorable tour. Or, take a short walk to Old World Third Street. Here you can visit Usinger's Famous Sausage Factory and purchase fresh bratwurst, or taste some real Wisconsin cheese at the Wisconsin Cheese Mart and Cheese Bar. |
TARDEDrop into the Milwaukee Public Museum to see its superb collection of natural history and science exhibits, then maybe catch a movie at the IMAX theater. Art lovers should visit the Milwaukee Art Museum ─ the building itself is a work of art, designed by the celebrated architect Santiago Calatrava. If you're here during the summer months, visit the lakefront where many annual festivals, such as Festa Italiana or Irish Fest, are held. Milwaukee also hosts the largest outdoor music festival in the USA, SummerFest, beginning the last week of June and running through the first week of July. If you're here in the winter, go ice skating at Red Arrow Park, located across the street from our hotel. |

LandmarksThe Allen Bradley clock tower is the largest four-faced clock in the world. Milwaukee Art MuseumThe Milwaukee Art Museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm and has a complete collection of art ranging from Anciet Egyptian to Impressionism and contemporary pop art. The cafe and gift shop are open to the public without admission fee so the landmark architecture is acessible to all. The celebrated addition to the art museum opened in October 2001. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it was his first North American commission.
