    This was a very convenient hotel as I needed to go both into Houston and nearby for medical appointments. Pet friendly is a great option as I recently got a kitten and did not want to leave at home alone. Close to many shopping areas. Within 20-25 miles of Galveston. Love this area.

    My Candlewood Suites experience

    I was mostly happy with my stay. I didnt like having to pay 20% over my bill just to pay with debt card or any kind of hassels with my debt card. Debt cards payments are deducted immediately from an account and shouldn't be any different than using a credit card. I was happy with the location for my purposes. I wished they would clean rooms more often and furnish fresh linens and towels daily. However the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay at Candlewood Suites again.

    This is a place where the staff treat you very well, and the accommodations are everything as promised, with quality not being compromised in any way. In the middle of everything, and just a short drive to the beach. Tons of restaurants and shopping all around.
