Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Responsive management, nice suite layout I like to stay in Crabtree Valley for my Raleigh business trips and this was a good deal for a suite-style room, my strong preference. I only missed having a breakfast buffet for a quick bite as I am always rushing out to meetings first thing in the morning, but this was remedied by picking up some muffins and yogurt the night before at the local supermarket, which lasted a few days. Best was that the management was very responsive when I made a small complaint/suggestion about my room, and went above and beyond to make me a happy customer, who is now more likely to return. Sometimes comments or suggestions fall on deaf ears, but in this case the manager obviously cared and wanted to make things right, and that far outweighed the small annoyance I commented on. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by warm, caring staff This establishment is exemplary in their customer service, free services offered (WiFi, laundry, cable) and their clean, comfortable rooms, buildings and grounds. My original reservation was for one week but got extended by another month. They were always pleasant as my needs changed and even allowed me to move from my original room because of noise from the electrical equipment room. As my stay extended they also allowed a reduced room rate which was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I will recommend the Candlewood Suites of Raleigh, NC to everyone, and will look for this hotel on my travels to other parts of the U.S. February 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Home away from home I was having my floors redone and needed to vacate my house for several days. I wanted to be able to cook and I wanted to have friends over but not in the middle of a bedroom. The queen suite was perfect! I could shut the door to the bedroom and still entertain. The night I checked in it snowed. I typically work out at t local gym but opted to use the fitness center instead to stay off the roads. It was convenient and allowed me to get my work out in that day safely. Finally, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful! February 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved Everything After driving in traffic in the rain we booked our reservations at another hotel that shall remain nameless and needless to say we were not pleased that's when we came up the street a little ways to Candlewood and it was everything we needed and more! Amazingly clean rooms, even had a bag of popcorn waiting on us in the microwave to pop with the cutest Rubbermaid Tupperware. Staff was nice and friendly and I wish I could have stayed longer! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpected Pleasant Stay We stayed a the Raleigh Crabtree Candlewood Suites for four nights starting 12/23/2013. We had not expected it to be the perfect hotel for us - but it was. We were visiting family in the Raleigh area. Our room was a good size and very comfortable with a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator with a ice maker. There was a convenience store located near the front desk where food and other supplies could be purchased . . . convenient for us. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Crabtree Valley Mall and within 10 or 15 minutes to downtown Raleigh. There was no pool but as we do not use swimming pools and prefer not to pay for them this was great for us. We will be back in a few months on our next trip. December 30, 2013

The in- house amenities were excellent. The motel location was very convenient to the city. I found my stay uneventful , pleasant and just what I needed. My sister recommended the motel to me and she is almost impossible to please. November 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Staff I chose to stay at Candlewood Suites because of the other reviews, and I was not disappointed. The rooms were very clean and comfortably appointed. Rupal was awesome!! Always smiling and went out of her way to help - when we needed an early morning cab - 1:00 am - she called the cab company, made the arrangements, and assured us they would be on time and they were. I have only good things to say about the staff and hotel. I have to make another trip to Raleigh in the near future and will definitely be staying there again. October 28, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by first time Candlewood stay I have nothing really too negative to say about my stay here at Candlewood except they still have yet to charge my credit card. It's taking too long. Its on a check card and those expenses show immediately when I check otherwise. Evening Reception, although very polite, did not even address me as Mr. xxxx or as a gold card member. I gave her my IHG gold card and she did mention that the card number did not show up on the original paperwork. She said the hotel had several issues lately with other members not showing as well. Also note I wasn't told that this brand does not clean the rooms every day or what a "Cupboard" was - the on site mini-mart. Other than that, my stay was pleasant and I would refer others to stay at this location. You will need to put up with one elevator that serves a lot of rooms - almost scary, and very loud. Needs to be serviced. October 14, 2013
