Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by the good the bad the ugly Fiona at the front desk was fabulous, a real gem. Pleasant and professional. Lawrence the chef went out of his way to help me as I was ill, and wanted wanted white rice. He made we a bowl and offered to do it again if I wanted it. That is the good. The phone never worked, no dial tone despite being reported. The ugly. There was a pair of ladies panties left behind in the cubby, with the hair dryer. The panties were removed, they discounted the 1st night stay automatically, but the phone never had a dial tone, despite being reported. May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Property This is a wonderful hotel, right in the middle of campus and everything that is Charlottesville. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. C'Ville was packed that weekend due to the DMB 25th anniversary concert, so getting a room anywhere was my main goal. I understand supply and demand, but I was disappointed in the rate that I was charged, I only assume that the regular rate for a room here is not as much as I paid, due to the concert. I plan on coming back to Charlottesville, we did not get to see and do everything we wanted to over the weekend, and I will try to book here first, if the rates are a bit more reasonable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable and convenient hotel Nice hotel, and friendly and attentive staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the bathroom, especially how well equipped it was. The hotel was conveniently located close to the UVA campus (where I was attending a conference). I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming through the Charlottesville area. May 9, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Reception area nice. The rooms were fine but the front desk staff needs to work on being more friendly. Our shower was not working and that was quite an inconvenience as we were preparing for a wedding that morning. The maintenance person was very nice and did the best he could to correct the problem as quickly as possible. Shower still did not work right but was sufficient to use. When checking in to a hotel, it is nice to walk into a room and know everything works. May 4, 2016
