Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff Our experience started with a phone call inquiry to the front desk as we arrived in Washington. Zach couldn't have been more personable, helpful and professional from the start of that phone call to the end our stay. All of the hotel personnel we encountered were helpful and friendly. However, I don't think my wife or I have ever met a better person working in the hospitality industry than Zach. The hotel was picked for its proximity to one of the bus pick up points for runners doing the George Washington Parkway Classic early on Sunday morning. However, it is just a block from the Metro stop - convenient to the entire city as well as Reagan National. While this was a leisure trip I am often in Washington DC for business. I am most likely to choose this property for a subsequent visit. April 26, 2016

I stayed here thinking it was a brand-new building, but it's apparently a renovated Holiday Inn that was open until a couple years ago. They've gone with a contemporary decor, which is almost really nice.... The reception April 20, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Will Be Good When Finished Hotel only reopened recently and it might have been just a bit soon for them to do so. Lobby was very nicely done, but upper floors looked like significant work still being done. However, it was clean, quiet, and I slept well. One issue I had was nearly complete lack of recognition for Spire level. Had to ask for the welcome points, and did not get my room type. Check in packet was not ready when I arrived and actual check in took quite a bit longer than usual. Staff did take care of points and offered a drink coupon for the room issue. They were polite, if unable to help with the real issue. Good location near Metro. While my stay was not perfect, I would stay at this hotel again and expect things will get better as they have ironed out some of the kinks with the reopening. April 14, 2016
