We were welcomed by a man with multi-coloured tattoos covering both forearms. This is not what we expected when visiting a Holiday Inn hotel - it made us feel as if we were in a really rough place, rather than feeling that we were receiving a nice warm welcome in a secure atmosphere. He was efficient enough, but didn't leave us with the impression that we were checking into a respectable establishment.

The room had no heating and it took several requests at reception for heating to be sorted and in the end they gave us a plug in heater. The evening meal was no better than a microwave meal and so was expensive and tasteless.
The man on reception insisted on calling everyone MATE or PAL which is not acceptable.
Buffet breakfast was sausages and scrambled eggs no other hot choice would have liked choice of eggs and perhaps some bacon. The sausages were awful took one for our dog and he refused to eat it. There was cereal's, juice tea and coffee etc which was fine

Stayed here for one night. Room was absolutely filthy. Shower was mouldy and fittings broken. WIndow sill in bedroom was again full of mould and peeling paint. There were 6 dead files squashed in the net curtains. THere were more flies alive against the window. Despite killing them, more appeared - not sure where from. Slept with window open as air conditioning/heating was noisy and kept us awake. My daughter of 7 was with us and was placed next to the window. As it was cold and fly infested, she slept with us.
However, the Reception Team (Carlos I tink), was very attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, his shift must have finished when we needed to raise the concerns.
Do not stay here unless you have a fly squatter in your luggage and like the ambient sounds of the M20.

Service was very good. Room was ideal for family of 4. Value was exceptional for what you get, free parking, cooked breakfast, Wifi and good clean room for very low price. I couldn't be happier. Will definetly stay again and recommend to anyone.
