Everything was great except the pool was closed. The rooms could use updated charging ports, but there were enough plug ins. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good and the room was very clean!

Nice staff. Hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was nice had a few opinions. Pool was closed . Potholes in concrete when you first enter.

The pool was closed. It didn’t even work. The rooms were dirty and even at 8 o’clock little before breakfast was very empty or burnt what was left from sitting out all morning pancake maker did not work well definitely not worth staying.

I just wanted to brag on one of your employees for a minute. Jasmine White helped me out tremendously. I booked a room at your hotel and an error was made in my room actually was never saved so when I got to the hotel, there were no rooms and Jasmine White went above and beyond cleaned the room herself so that I would have a room to stay in that night and I’m a truck driver and was out of hours so it was hugely Important and she came through. She is AWESOME!!!

Upon check in, the unfortunate person in front of us was having issues. The receptionist sounded exasperated helping them. The line became longer and no one else came to help although it was a common check in time. Finally we were helped.
We went to our room and unloaded all of our things and I set up my medical equipment for my health problems. I pull back the sheets to find a string. No big deal; it happens. I then pull back the sheets to find lots of hair on the sheets! Disgusting!
I went back to the receptionist and patiently waited for her to finish with her current guest. It was obvious at this point she was the only person working in the hotel.
She said to pack everything back up and she would be down in a minute (another guest had arrived) to get us in the new room.
I packed everything back up and since she hadn't arrived, went back to the front desk where she was helping more guests checking in. After waiting, she was able to get me a key to a new room and went with us to ensure it was a clean room.
Everything looked great although the sink had a huge crack in it. Then I went in the bathroom and realized there were no towels. I went back to the front desk to find it deserted. Rang the desk bell. Nothing. Then went back to the original room to find the receptionist. I just proceeded to the bathroom and collected the towels for our new room. Upon returning to our new room, I find the bathroom door had locked!!! Not wanting to bother with the front desk again, we got it unlocked with a hanger and ensured we didn't close the door again.
I had used my points for this hotel. Is this why it was so bad?

Staff were very friendly. Friendliest, most helpful food service worker I’ve seen in a long time. She was so helpful and great!
Rooms seemed dated and well-used and slightly dingy. It didn’t seem dirty, but it didn’t feel clean. Broken roll up shade, two burnt out light bulbs, small old TV, food left in the fridge.y
Overbooked hotel

The hotel overbooked. I had reservations for well over 10 days in advance. I reserved 2 beds because it was myself and 2 teen daughters. We were put in a king suite, with one king bed and a pull out couch. I would have preferred 2 beds as I initially booked. A pull out couch is severely uncomfortable and we didn’t get a good night sleep. Disappointed.

Holiday Inn Express is always a great place to stay. The hotel staff are friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Love that the room has a sofa to relax and read a book on. We choose Holiday Inn Express every time we travel when possible.

Just start off our room did not have a blackout shade and the light from the parking lot was blinding us all night long so we got absolutely no sleep. The moment I walked in there was water all over the floor because the refrigerator was leaking everywhere and obviously did not keep our waters cold that we put in there. The next morning when I brought this to the manager‘s attention, he said he would call me and I’m still waiting on that call back which I assume I will never get. He asked me multiple times what he could do to make it right I told him he’d give me my 17,000 points back that I used on that room. Obviously that did not happen. The sweet little girl at the front desk gave me 500 points for my inconvenience. I appreciate her as well because she upgraded our room from two queens to a king but the reason I booked two queens is because we fight over the pillows and we never have enough. I would never stay at this hotel again. The new management has not done anything and obviously will not do anything different than the old management if they were looking to make a platinum elite member happy they would return my 17,000 points.
Can’t say enough good things about the from desk staff!

The lady at the front desk when we arrived Was simply amazing! We booked 4 rooms for three families and our kids to have a little spring break getaway/birthday party. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and clean. The front staff was more than accommodating to support our children and ensure they had a great time, yet still followed the rules and respected others. Thank you very much! This mom is very happy with this small getaway!
The hotel is clean and is a safe environment for families.

I’d recommend this hotel. I felt it was a safe and clean space for our family. I really like that Holiday Inn has Keurig’s in the room. I also appreciated the extra cabinets.
