The room and guest bathroom was clean as it could be midst the remodeling being done. I had to go down to get a hair dryer but they brought one up right away.
Room and bed was very neat and comfortable. Needs a little more work for painting and trim.

We stay almost exclusively with HIE properties. We've stay in many that had signs up about "please excuse our dust". This is the only property that affected our stay in the room. Missing things like clothes racks. I was warned about the quality of the room prior to "moving in".
Outside the room, things were good.

Comfortable, Secure, Quiet, Helpful after I dropped my key for my truck in the lobby, they found it and kept it until I asked the following morning, Whew! glad they did that!
Nice Place, when I'm in the area again, I shall be staying here.

I stayed here with reward points and asked for a quiet room. I was placed near the elevator. The staff seemed temporary and were unable to answer what should have been routine questions.
The drawback of staying here is that there are no restaurants close. There is a 7-11 nearby and a Taco Bell about two miles away.
One staff member scored huge points with me because she recommended her favorite restaurant, the Texas Steakhouse. I went there and was thoroughly satisfied!
The remodel of the property wasn't too bad, no noise anyway, just clutter and worn down facilities on the 2nd floor.

I had reserved a 2 queen bed suite, after traveling for 14 hours with my wife and 3 kids we arrived ready to go to bed. They told me they only had a king suite with a hide a bed. I told them that would not work due to having 5 adults. I took the room anyway because we were very tired but when we got to the room it was not finished. I called downstairs to the the front desk I didn't have an ironing board and iron or a blow dryer, her exact words were "what do you expect me to do take it from another room"?
I called customer service and they were able to get me into another IHG hotel 7 miles away (for a lot more money) but it was worth the cost to have the comfort and the things we needed for our appointment the next day.
I have stayed here before with no problem but after this I will never stay here again!

I called 2 months ahead about a 2 room suite for my daughter's bday party. Was told they were being renovated, but would be done in plenty of time. Get there to check in, looking over the paper to initial, room type is NOT what I reserved. Rooms were NOT done!!! No time to change as 5 girls on their way. No one called, no email or anything letting me know my reservation wasn't available. No 2 bed queens available with joining rooms. Room I reserved had 3 queen beds & sofa bed, the whole reason I chose this room & hotel. The only thing they had open was 2 rooms w/1 king bed that were adjoining. We took that with 2 roll aways. No effort made by staff for any compensation over the room I reserved not being available. I had to ask to get the same rate I had reserved the larger room for. Then we get a call BEFORE 9pm on a Saturday asking to have the girls quiet down. BEFORE 9pm! Are you kidding me? Worst experience I've had, and really bad considering it was a Holiday Inn. Will NOT come back here. Very disappointed in lack of service, lack of trying to fix what they messed up, and lack of staff trying to do anything to help make my stay any better. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET. And I'm a rewards club member. Didn't matter to them at all.
