Pictures on Hotel website clearly show a hot tub in the pool area. Upon arrival, the pool was closed and we were told they have not had that hot tub at the property for over a year. That is false advertising if I've ever seen it. Ice machine out of order, water container in the gym empty and appeared so for several days.

Great staff and helpful. Only thing to update would be the website showing the Jacuzzi that is no longer there. Gym could you a bench and some free weights.

This was a great experience . Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast hours were great on the weekend and the property was very clean

I travelled from VA to visit my sister who lives in Ft. Wayne who has been overwhelmed as caretaker for her ill husband for some time. I decided to take her away from it for awhile, so we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express-Ft Wayne for 2 nights.
She has mobility issues, so the staff was able to arrange adjoining rooms for us - one being for disabled guests. The rooms were perfect, except for the bed in her room. It was much too high for her to easily get into. While it's not ADA required, it would be very helpful if the beds in the disabled rooms are not sitting on high platforms like the regular rooms have.
Our rooms were right next to a side door, which we thought was great since she utilizes a rollator to walk, but there was no ramp outside that exit, and the concrete step there was too high for her to step up or down. She had to walk all the way up the hallway through the lobby to leave or enter the building. For a disabled person, this could be disastrous in case of an emergency or fire.
Overall though, our visit was great. The staff is very friendly, the spacious rooms are clean, and the beds very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

As a consumer of many hotel beds a year, I frequent IHG often and am in fact a fan. This stay included a comfortable bed and pillow set as usual. The hotel room was dated and dusty, but not a big deal. David, the front desk clerk was a holy terror. He spent a literal five minutes arguing that he could not find my reservation with the federal ID presented to him (used it many times with no issue), kept declining my offer of the reservation number as I had my IHG app open to share it. He finally broke me down and I shuffled though the ole wallet and found the State ID (out of state and easier to fake). Shouldn't have wasted the time arguing or let myself get worked up to the point it affected my sleep, but I did. That's something I will own.

A bit disappointed. The pool was not working. The elevator was shut down due to rain on Saturday. Slow bathroom and tub plumbing.
We had a large group, felt like the hotel was not ready for us especially during breakfast.
I do want to give a shout out to David. He was super patient with our large group.

They ran out of breakfast items!! They serve breakfast till 10 and yet they ran out if items by 9 am

The hotel was filled with teenagers that were loud and carrying buckets of water from their rooms all the way to the front entrance to throw on each other. This was all after 10pm which was supposed to be quiet hours. There was water all over the halls and elevator. Elevator was out of service the next morning. Pool was closed during our whole stay and I was not told during check in. Woke up in the morning to ants all over the floor.

I really enjoyed staying at this location. Very clean and comfortable beds! I don't remember her name but one of the front desk employees recomended a local restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! It's little things like this that truly makes a difference and makes guests want to come back again.
Likely will not stay at this hotel again

We travel for basketball and chose this hotel as it was less then 10 min from facility and we like to stay at holiday inn express. It was advertised that there was a spa/hot tub and had pictures on the site. There was no hot tub. Upon arrival my daughter needed to use restroom in lobby while I was checking in and she walked right back out and said it was dirty and toilet was clogging full of urine/stool. At breakfast we went down and all the food was still frozen. I went to front desk and the lady there who did not appear busy just said "Is she not over there?" I didn't know who I was supposed to search for but she did finally come over and change out the food. My kids went for a morning swim and when we got back to the room at 1002am our key no longer worked. The kids were wet and cold and luckily I found a cleaning lady to let us in so I didn't have to go back down to lobby. I called down to verify that check out was at 11am, noon for rewards members and she said yes but ever since the time change the doors lock at 10am. Just several small frustrating situations that you expect better when you pay $200 a night.
