        Mount Vernon Place Conservancy

        A 5-minute stroll from Hotel Indigo® Baltimore Downtown is Mount Vernon Place Conservancy, which consists of four beautifully landscaped, 19th-century park squares centered around Baltimore's Washington Monument, a 178-foot white-marble column topped by a statue of George Washington. General admission is free, but you may also reserve tickets to climb the monument's 227 steps for sweeping views of the city.
