Located in the University Hill neighborhood of the Syracuse University campus, the Jma Wireless Dome (formerly Carrier), is the only domed stadium in the Northeast, as well as the largest structure of its kind on a college campus. Also known as the "Loud House," it is home to the Syracuse Orange football, basketball, and lacrosse team. Historically recognized in the NCAA's Big East Conference, the Jma Wireless Dome can seat up to 49,250 fans. The dome also hosts other area events.

Beaver Lake Nature Center is a 661-acre natural area located four miles west of Baldwinsville, New York. The Nature Center is an Onondaga County Parks facility and is meant to expose visitors to a variety of outdoor experiences. The nature center is open year-round from 7:30 a.m. to near dusk.
