Overall good experience

There were bugs in my sheet and I got a few bites; also, the air condition in the room is incredibly loud. I provided the feedback when checked out, the front desk promised will investigate and get back to me asap. But hear nothing ever since.

Awesome View, If You Love Airplanes

By

May 27, 2015

I was on the 9th floor, with a direct view of Newark International Airport. If I had a pair of binoculars, I'd be in heaven the 3 days I was there! The room is nicely appointed, though the TV, while being LCD, is a bit outdated. I was unable to view my own media through the USB port. Still, I had a refrigerator, and, upon request, a microwave oven was placed in my room, which was great! The bathroom was very nice, and the toiletries were of great quality.
My stay included free breakfast for two, and free parking-these two things added up to a great value, so I recommend it, especially if you have AAA. The breakfast buffet was good, but the selection was very scant-the only fruits they had were cantaloupe, melons and pineapples, sometimes only two of the three. They only had one type of tea. Overall, it was OK, but other Crowne Plaza hotels have been heaps better.
The only major problem I had was with the WiFi. This hotel does not have Ethernet option in the rooms, and the poor WiFi cost me about a whole business day worth of work. If you can't tether your phone to your laptop to get things done quickly, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a business traveler.
Overall though, the staff was great, very courteous and friendly, and I would recommend this hotel for leisure, though they will need to improve their service for business travelers.
